I agree Doughnut was so good it's extremely underrated. I have to agree the concept photos & teasers were so good but we didn't get that from the comeback. It threw me off bc then they posted cutsie pictures after & I was like why would they have them in these sexy spy outfits if the song doesn't even match those outfits or concept much. The title track was good not the best twice song but as a twice fan you will love it and appreciate it for what it was, specially with all the references. The album was AMAZING. Queen of Hearts & Basics stands out. They were so good to listen to Chaeyoung killed the rap verses on the B-side she went crazy. Overall I loved the album the title track could've been a bit better but can still appreciate it for what it was.

idk i loved the song from the first listen and quite literally ascended when i heard sana’s chorus 😭😭 i loved the y2k concept!! as well as how they slipped in some references to their past songs in the lyrics

the part "tell me what you want, tell me what you need" was satisfying for me also the "L O V E"

this song is a sleeper hit for me. i thought i wouldnt like it after the first listen, it wasn't "catchy" kpop enough for me. but i found myself singing the chorus and looking the song up multiple times and now i love it. Twice did it again!

Talk that Talk was a good song. Video was a tribute to Y2K; to me they were computer spyware vs regular spies. Plus you may be too young but the issue with Y2K was that it couldn’t distinguish dates probably. So the video could also be making fun of the computer programs not understanding the difference between the past and future. It was an issue with a computer bug hence them being spyware vs spies. They did actually give a full Y2K theme, fyi Y2K is the early 2000’s not the 90’s. Now rewatch the video. It will make more sense. I also took video as transition from the past into future cuz that’s exactly what the early 2000’s was. Remember the early 2000’s saw the invention of USB, Bluetooth, camera phone, the first modern smartphone was invented, social media like MySpace, Facebook, KZfaq was created. Truth is their video captured the essence of the earth 2000’s as it was a year of technological advances, changed the way people interact with each other, and even fashion began to change.

I think alcohol free and scientist were catchy but were not title song material and didn't even get hyped but Talk that talk grew on me its in my head sanas bit especially it could've been better. JYP needs to do better bcuz look at the 4th generation the talent is on another level and Twice have potential JYP holds them back they are grown ass woman n won't try mature concepts or mv cus of korean Once 🙄🙄🙄🙄

Im an actual singer-songwriter and im telling you, talk that talk is a well written and executed/performed song. Not their best, but it’s a nicely created piece. I couldn’t say the same about the other top girl group’s comeback. Im a fan of both groups and have been a kpop stan since 2011

I agree about Doughnut not being recognized and appreciated enough but I believe that's just looking at its relatively low online views. We'll never truly know how famous Twice in Japan is until we get to live in the country, my cousin living there is the one who updates me and locally that song was yet again another hit for Twice so I'm not worried. Mina's acting on the Doughnut MV was worth a couple of Oscars as well 💖

honestly, i only found out about Twice like a month ago- i used to listen to SNSD, 2ne1, Orange Caramel, 4minute etc (the older kpop girl groups) Twice has a more solid discography than most of those groups combined All of their songs are massive ear worms for me- this new song doesnt seem to catch on like the rest or their promo singles

Honestly I had high hopes for this comeback because of the opening trailer.But the song was not my type.But I enjoyed the visuals.But the B-side songs are dope.Queen of heart is now my favourite..

I wish they had done something more with the beat that they used in the trailer. I hope that this comeback makes them realise that its time to shake things up a lil bit. They deliver whatever they are given and Talk that Talk grew on me buuuuuuuuuut I would love to see something a bit more grown up.

After all the songs that have released recently pink venom, after like,that new jeans song and aespa girls. TTT was amazing. Twice never lose their vibes by trying to amalgamate into west just to have their approval. So yah, after witnessing recent terrible songs , TTT was amazing.

I think comebacks would be better if they changed up there sound a bit instead of always using the same signature style. There music is mostly dance-pop and bubblegum pop while other groups use more hip hop and R&B.

As much as I love twice, it took me a few listens to like and love the song. I think the trailer for the album kind of misled me. Like you, I was looking forward to the year 2k-ish concept, the part where namochaeng danced got stuck in me. I was hoping to hear that in the actual song (i cant hear it in the actual song 😭😭) but their b-sides were the bomb. I actually liked all of them

i only disliked chaeyoungs thing after the first chorus... I love chaeyoung but it didn't sound well with the song. otherwise TTT is amazing. scientist is really good imo, scientist is a comforting song for me. it's not very loud, it's not crazy, it's just twice. i wish they had more of the concept of TTT in the song..? like the song sounds like a twice song, which i love, but the concept didn't really show in the sound. I wanted the y2k kind of sound but i do like the song without it. at the most i'd give it a 9.5/10. I love it but i wish they added more with the concept :).

i think Scientist was their biggest miss, and i blame JYP for it. there's something wrong with the vibe of the song, it has an simplistic and repetitive chorus with an unsatisfying resolution which makes me feel nostalgic but tired. my problem with scientist's chorus reflects in Talk That Talk too, the chorus doesn't seem to have a neat resolution and the sound palette leans towards the generic side. i was hoping Talk To Talk to be as distinctive as I Cant Stop Me or Alcohol Free but the production is relatively flatter.

When they performed the song on Musicbank with the y2k outfits...it didn't make sense... i get they were trying to be more famous in america with this comeback with the y2k stuff but they should have also made the title track y2k/spy concept because the y2k scenes in the song didn't make sense with the cutesy/more korean-sounding song

It is disappointment, it duplicates components in other k girl group movies. It has been only several days since IVE's new mv what's after love, it has director editing themed part, and the whole set looks so similar to this mv. You know Doja Cat is a real genius, everyone's copying her cyber mechanical genre. I know there are so many art works like CyberPunk 2077, Aespa, but they have their own way of creating inside of the same category. So what is up with them to mix everything what's already introduced to public. Even they have apparent similarity with recently debut idol, New Jeans. People have more authentic taste of art now, they are dumb but they are not too dumb.

Twice has already lost a big chunk of domestic fans with their controversial encore performances of more and more and icsm, it dealt a big blow to their domestic popularity and it's not gonna be easy to get back to where they were before domestically especially with lots of haters (they are still popular to a degree though), that being said they did get international attention with icsm and did well with alchol free, finaly scoring a hit with feels. Unfortunately they seem to be trying too hard to win back domestic fans with tracks that are designed to appeal korean sentiments rather than focusing on new fans, international fans and attention that they are receiving. To be honest it's their reputation as horrible singers that's hurting them rather than the songs they are putting out, personally I belive they are decent singers of course not all of them are equally talented vocally but rather than horrible I would say some of them are vocally weak, still they can always improve and get better, if not there's no point considering themselves as singers(solo stans can accept it though). Anyway they had a chance to redeem themselves with alcohol free live encore but they failed even though it was a decent performance and good compared to some other gg encore, Korean fans and general public could clearly see who can sing and who needs improvement, eversince mnm encore they have been quite harsh on Twice. It would help if Twice takes up the challenge and prove they can sing live without assistance, I believe they can sing well if they practice hard and rehearse well. Btw popularity is a very important factor in kpop at the same time the song has to be decent enough, lastly it's just my opinion or rather observation, many will differ, some will outright disagree with me and has every right to do so but dont take it wrongly or too personally. Hoping Korean gp will love talk that talk,appreciate them for their effort and give them a chance to prove that they are good singers cuz they have lots to give, eventhough they are veterans now, most of the members are still quite young for instance Tzuyu is just 22 same as some 4th gen gg.That's all I am saying.

in my opinion, i think some of their outfit in this comeback are a little inappropriate and unnecessary for the concept.. one of momo’s outfit seems like a lingerie for me.. and i think spies don’t wear a thigh high lace socks too. i feel uncomfy when looking at the pictures, but overall the song is pretty good
