The Mexicans were monsters out there. They had no fear to head butt to tackle to smash in to the USA. They wanted the game much more then the USA ! The USA got beat up by a smaller team. None of the US players showed up for the game. Did I see Vlatco on the side lines... Oh no it was Twila!!!

I was lucky enough to see both Mexican National Team players Greta Espinoza (played at AWC) and Mexican Goal Keeper Esthephany Barreras Torres play here in Yuma, Az previously on local teams. Which brings up an interesting point that the U.S. scouting system missed these two young ladies and was beat by players they could have scouted. The USA Womens National Team scouting system has become just as bad as the Mens National team now and its blatantly obvious they ignore Latino talent on both the mens and womens sides. The USA scouts on both mens and womens teams are looking in the wrong places and have little to no respect for the grassroots soccer that is being played across this country in smaller communities.

She doesn't know what went wrong. She chose the wrong starting 11 she made the wrong substitutions at the wrong times. The 11 that started against Argentina should have started against Mexico. Not that wonky looking 11 that went out last night. She had no answer for Mexico except the wrong ones. She needs to go.

Mexico was pumped to play the US. US old guard looked old. The one good thing is the US advances and they could face Mexico again.

This loss is good for any team,the USA will regroup and thellwill come back!! The USA is still a power in women soccer, still there is a lots of tournament!!

This is a lesson learnt. Start your best defenders and attackers. The 3-4-3, worked for uswnt in the first two games

I'm not sure I quite agree with the back line lacking bravery - Becky and Abby have plenty of courage, but they might be at a speed disadvantage v the Mexican front line, so they have to be careful playing too high and getting beat on transition

I can tell you one of the problems that went wrong, instead of bring up Becky Sauerbrunn, Sarah Gordon should have been called up!!! for center back, one of the best, if not the best center back in all of usa, possibly the fastest and best in the world, she brings on Becky Sauerbrunn (who I adore, one of my fav's) but she is 38 years old. I see some of the same mistakes being made as the last coach. another player that should be on this team, that is fast and will not stop until she wins the ball, assists or scores and is defense!! she probably one of the fastest in the league, that that is M.A. Vignola. I would bet big money on that last game if those two were playing.

This is a product of a kind and gentle coaching and staff. U.S. W. Coaches and staff need to be hard but fair and respectful but mostly hard. There were players that needed to be replaced early in the match. Fox was one player who was a deer in the head lights. She couldn't make quick decisions to get the ball into play and her passing was horrible. Becky S. was no match for the speed of Mexico's front line which showed in her mistake. Players that are suppose to be the wall need to be the wall. They always look away or bend down and let the ball go through. Take the hit like your suppose to as the wall. The rest was frustration and complaining from all the players. A lot of crying over hits that put them on the ground. Ref. was letting the teams play so the U.S. just needed to get up and push back professionally. Formation change was never done to help their offense. Their passing was off target most of the game. Their heads were not on a swivel, even Rose L. who usually moves her head to check where players are was not looking normal. All teams except the U.S. have improved in their game because of the U.S. teams ability to dominate in the past. This domination made the other teams work harder and now they are dominating the U.S.. Need a hard charging coach to step in and put boot to jersey and work on their basic skills of the game, speed, toughness to take a hit, and get rid of the crying players. U.S. has a hard road ahead in this tournament and the She Believes Cup! I'm still rooting for them but they need to do better.

Kilgore reminds me of Veronica Vergara, former coach. She is the reason Mexico didn't make the World Cup and is not going to the Olympics.

Most of these players are out of form except for Horan and Fox playing in Europe....twila really messed up the subs last night, not subbing off becky after making those 2 huge mistakes was stupid, not starting girma in the first place was dumber

It’s seems Twila is very satisfied eith the Mexican game line up, substitutions, mistakes made by players and goals scored by Mexico from restarts. She made it sound like US won the game.

"these things happen" sums up TK attitude. No apologies. No ownership. And thats with all the softball questions. British media would shred you, dear. Losing 0-2 to Mexico in the way they did tells us the USWNT was not prepared. This is very bad look, even for a temporary head coach.

The US team has the speed & talent. Mexico played a much better game. They wanted it more and went after it. Coach needs to pick her top 11 and stick with that group. The players need to know who they are playing with on the field. It takes time to get comfortable & in a rhythm. Too much major change from game to game. Substitute, yes when necessary. Rodman,Smith,Shaw & Purce Move Fox to midfield w/ Lavellle & Sonnet Dunn,Girma & Cook, Murphy

Dunn and fox kept on doing backward pass until they lost the ball. Smith and Saurerbaum were badly off and should not started. Morgan needed to retire. There were noting positive about this teammate.

Pedro Lopez' hand all over this mexican team - also, la liga femenil is also developing great talents there - Mexico wont the PanAm tournament under Lopez and they're carrying the momentum forward

Twila seemed timid to the point of being shell shocked. If that is the way she talks to her team it is no wonder we saw the result that we did. Here are things she should have addressed- poor passing - all over the field. Never seen a US team give up the ball so often or so easily. Mexico out hustled us to almost every 50/50 and loose ball. That is about willingness to work for your team. No combination play, very little creativity to create goal scoring chances. Maybe 2 shots on goal the whole night. And I certainly agree with what others have said here- wrong starting lineup and slow to make meaningful changes.

You can asked them to work out of the back, the question still remains do you have the right personnel out on the field.?

The group as capable as you lament failed to execute which is failure my darling! The rotation is deff a problem at this moment in time. Horan was horrible, this team management is not robust and needs rescue asap. As experienced as these players are they showed lack in every way, imagine if it was England 🤣 it would have been 10-0 the new coach needs to rethink they team she wants to work with and people who make excuses shouldn’t be part.

The US Women's team needs to step up and play consistently, or they're not going to be able to compete anymore with teams from Europe. The US women's team has played very poorly these past few years. I hope they get their act together and play like a team they are known for.

USWNT players are too slow (complacent) or too fast with no ball control.. There is no middle ground of both speed and technical abilities. The Spanish team has that mix.

This coach looks like she was in a car accident and is in physical and mental shock........ She’s acting calm yet wants to cry and have a tantrum on the inside . US soccer culture is soft and fragile ...... The development of the youth in the money grubbing club system along with anyone who’s played 3 minutes gets a coaching license BS is completely broken..... US soccer scapegoated their last coach for the struggles .... This new was supposed to be the second coming...... There is an entitled arrogance around US soccer ..... Sign of the times....... You have to play hard and threaten the entire game from the whistle...... Final passes are. everyone’s problem not just these players coach.... Quit the over tactical speeches and focus on mentality and grit. Mexico comes to ball out...... US comes all dressed up to be cool..... It’s how they are raised up in the youth system......
