The executive chef at Petite León is also the executive chef at the restaurant I work at in Dayton Ohio. Chef Jorge is honestly one of the most brilliant people I’ve ever had the privilege to meet, let alone train under. I’ll be making a trip out west almost specifically to visit Petite. Super cool to see it represented by a creator I respect so much!

Thank you for visiting a Hmong place. Despite there being a large Hmong community in the Twin Cities, outside of MN, not many know about Hmong food or people. Love your videos! ❤

I live in Minnesota and the food scene out here in Minneapolis/St Paul is incredible. So many good spots and variety. If you go further into some of the suburbs too there is some great places there too. Glad you enjoyed my state!

You f'n lying. Twin Cities is trash for food. A lot of fusion and random crap but nothing compared to the coast bc ingredients aren't fresh and everything has to be flown in.

Gotta get a table at Owamni next time you're around! It's one of very few places that serve Indigenous cuisine. They focus on a decolonized menu, so it has nothing that was brought over from Europe. Lots of venison, duck, turkey, and fish-- tons of greens and beans. It's a masterful, wonderful, amazing kitchen that employs a nearly completely Indigenous staff. I'm one of the few non Indigenous workers there and I can hook you up and get you a table next time you're around. Summer time is a great time to visit Minnesota again!

So glad you got to check out such great restaurants - Minneapolis & St. Paul has a great food scene! Even the suburbs have some amazing places - King's Korean in Fridley is definitely not what you would expect from a strip mall in a blue collar suburb. Love your videos! Please keep 'em coming!

ive been raised in minnesota all my life but the cities is a whole different planet compared to the rest of mn. really good mexican, korean, and thai places all over. if you want good hot pot i recommend le pot in dinkytown its amazing. theres going to be a new mall opening up a little outside the cities and its going to be pan asian-cultured theme. unfortunately, the cities while bustling is very gentrified as others have mentioned and its definitely affected many urban family owned businesses post covid. that includes small asian owned businesses in poor neighborhoods. some of my favorites are friends cafe, tay ho, and arirang all located in st paul.

Ohh... you just hit up some yuppie spots! Aww - there's better food in TC Metro than that, and for cheaper... and you'll help Metro family restaurants if you visit them, too. Cuz you barely touched the range of Asian (and other non-white) food available - including Korean in the last few years. The area has always had a huge range, and folks come from all over the Midwest because of this.

This is definitely beginnings to a bigger brighter future for your content creation as a chef! Can't wait to see it!
