Twin Tribes & The Cure - Monolith/Lovesong

Like other songs I've uploaded, this is another fake collaboration.
I'd say unfortunately, because to listen to a real Twin Tribes/The Cure song would be a dream!
This one is not properly a mashup, since I've remade the Twin Tribes's instrumental part almost completely in my own way
(that's quite clear, since it doesn't sound the same.)
All the songs and samples used in the video belong to their respective owners and I do not claim any right over them.

This is very well done - I've only discovered TwinTribes in the past year, so still have that puritan's view of how they should sound. Conversely, I've been listening to the Cure since they started, and I don't think EITHER band would be disappointed in this. Again, well done.

Thanks! Twin Tribes are a recent discovery for me too - only few months ago - thanks to KZfaq suggestions while I was listening to She Past Away, another great duo. So I've listened to very few TT's songs so far, but I definitely love them! Discovered The Cure in 1984....

I found Twin Tribes on a mashup of post-punk-goth songs. "The River" was the song and its been my favorite since. Fast forward a couple of weeks and I'm leaving my favorite danceclub in Houston Tx, Numbers. And would you know it, a car drove by with the windows down, blasting "The River". It felt so right. What a night. But i digress. Would love to see what you could do with that song. Burn bright and shine on 🎩

"The River", amazing song. I choose "Monolith" because I love that synth bass. In my version I tried to recreate that sound, not identical but pretty similar. I've found out Twin Tribes thanks to KZfaq advices while I was listening to She Past Away, another great dark wave duo from Turkey.

@@matt_one I see your reasoning behind Monolith. Yesss SPA recently played in Houston and I wished I could've gone. I dig they're deep synth beats as well. Turkey? So THATS where they're from. I love songs I can't understand. Kinda like listening to Rammstein

@@VoidVintage I instantly loved that strange language, never heard before a Turkish song. I don't care if I don't understand, I don't care what is said in a song, for me the voice is like a musical instrument. If it sounds good, is good!

Thanks for appreciating this. I could do it, but I warn you that it would not be the real TT's instrumental. The original idea was to get an instrumental version of Monolith using AI isolation tools, but I didn't get usable results. I've used only the isolated guitars from the original, but the result was very dirty, so I had to dub them. I completely rebuilt the other parts, drums, bass... and added some sounds, including from The Cure's song.
