I built the arrangement based on Robert Smith's isolated guitar stem, but played in reverse.
This is particularly noticeable at the beginning and the end.
Video made with FL Studio ZGameEditor Visualizer plugin
All the songs and samples used in the video belong to their respective owners and I don't claim any right over them.

Thanks you for listening and appreciating it! Basically is the same song but.... I isolated Robert Smith's guitar and reversed it, so technically the whole song is played in reverse. Then I added the other sounds trying to adapt them to the reversed guitar. It was rather funny!

Thanks a lot, dear friend!As with my other things, it's just a fun experiment, as well as including references to other songs. The bits from "Close To Me" are not samples taken from the original song, but sounds that I inserted, without worrying much about them being similar to the original. A last minute idea!The song had been lying on my PC for months, almost finished and forgotten.

Oh, thank you very much! This is a song that I always thought was the perfect song. I mean the original, of course. Perfect and untouchable. But I couldn't resist the temptation and this thing, which started out as a pure experiment, came out like this. Thanks again for your appreciation!

I've only used the guitar part from the original song, but reversed, and sampled the snare drum. I've also played parts of 'Close To Me' with similar sounds. 😀

@@matt_one The bass line is nuts enough already..... It seems to be half note higher transposed n then switching between a few songs inbetween n then back to pics.... There's so much going on I'm having a hard time pinpointing what I hear where.... Probably in my head but I hear small parts of High, Plainsong n a few others.... But by the same token, they do recycle a lot of their own material.... as most bands naturally

@thecreamyone3606 I often misinterpret the pitch of a song when the bass plays only with the drums. Then when the rest comes in, keyboards, vocals, I realise the true tonality.... Perhaps the same thing occurs here. Perhaps the very first two bass notes should have been an octave below. The feelings that music gives are always subjective, so if you feel like you're hearing other Cure songs in here, that's OK. In any case, I only used material from those two songs.
