Give the Valentine One radar detector a look at amzn.to/2skEPhB if you want the industry standard technology and peace of mind!
Hey you guys! Today Marcus hops in a 2001 Twin Turbo Mitsubishi Legnum VR-4 to see what it's all about. Under the hood is a 2.5L transverse-mounted V6 mated to Mitsubishi's AWD system, sharing a lot of components with the Lancer Evolution platform of the time. It was a bunch of fun to drive this rare 5-speed wagon that can basically do everything from your Sunday drive through the twisties to the daily grind in traffic. Could this be the ultimate soccer mom/ family car?

I have the 97' version. VR-4 TT as well. Was my first car and have had it since 2011 as a hand-me-down from my brother and is still going strong. I personally like the back on the 97 over this one. But overall very good car to drive . Also regarding barely seeing many of these. Come to NZ and they're everywhere haha

Oh sh*t. I was just looking around for a new car, because mine will go to a family member soon and searched for japanese wagons. I've totally fallen in love with this thing. Beautiful car. Really cool. Not a bad price either. I do want to say though, Forester STI would not be less reliable. The EJ20 turbo engines were bulletproof. The reliability issues only come from the NA 2.5 head gaskets and EJ257 ring lands, and even in those cases it's not all cars. Just thought I'd mention that.

Richard Swagger he's out of Canada, they have different import laws. I believe 15 years old they can import cars not original for North America. That's the just of it from what I know.

Zap Rowsdower212 they do have different import laws. People import cars to Canada and then just drive them over the us border. Thanks for the info 👍🏽

Just for visits, you can be very heavily fined or even hit with jail time for selling an illegal jdm import from Canada to the USA.

Legnums were all over the place here a couple of years ago - mostly the 1.8 litre shitheaps that barely move at all. Being Mitsubishi's, they all started rapidly disappearing into scrap yards once they got to the "time for the engine and/or transmission to explode" age. Still a few VR4's around, mostly blowing oil smoke from blown turbo seals, and from the dudebro vaping behind the wheel. V1's were really good in their day - but now because they don't have proper blind spot filtering, and every other car is blasting out blind spot radar, they are just noisy and irritating compared to a modern high end detector from Uniden or Escort.

Million $ question is, how did you import a RHD JDM-only car that was only 20 years old at the time of this video?
