I was misty eyed the whole time! I have boy/girl twins and when I called my dad after my ultrasound to tell him, he was in a meeting and stepped out. He wasn’t able to go back in because he was crying 😭 Twins are so special 💙💗

I am a twin me and my sister asked our mother what was the happiest moments of her life and she answered the day you born and the day I learned you were two! 😁🥰 The funny is my sister's name starts with A and my name starts with B our parents named us after the baby A and baby B

I love the grandmas reaction, they're from the time when people found out about the sex and the number of babies until the baby(ies) is born, no ultrasounds, no drugs, and some times not even doctors, just the midwife helping out. So, for them, these kind of surprises are business as usual. BTW, first ultrasound on humans was in 1956. Anybody born before that, it was a surprise.

My mum had twins in 1970, no ultrasounds etc. She didn't know for sure she was having twins, but my dad had commented to her that if it wasn't twins, then it was a centipede (so not a complete surprise). The really funny thing was she went into labour in the afternoon, but all her older kids were due to go to the dentist that particular afternoon. So she sent dad to the dentist with the kids and got to the hospital herself. Then had the doctor ring dad at the dentist to tell him it was twin girls! Much hilarity ensued 😂

My family stopped talking to me because I told them I was pregnant at 6/7 months. Didn't attend my baby shower, call or text after I gave birth, visited and 4 years later still not talking to me. This was lovely to watch😍 I pray my daughter has this much love when it's her time. God willing

As an identical twin myself my advice to your critters....open your gifts at the same time. You'll most likely get the same thing but different colors so it won't spoil the "surprise" for the other twin. Or do what me and my bro did.. Stack our gifts the same way and one start from the top the other from the bottom. 🤠

I lost my Great-Grandmother when i was 21 yrs old. That was a great experience in my Life having someone so speacial like her. She was born in 1912 and died in 2005. The fun part was that She got a great great Grand Child (my cousin had a baby in 2000 while She was alive).

The day I first saw my baby granddaughter made the whole world stand still. I’ve never seen anything more beautiful in my whole life and never loved anything more. She first learned to talk about two years ago and yesterday she said “I love you Papa Joe!” I can die happy anytime now.

My Maternal Great Grandmother had five sets of non-identical twins and one single birth. At one point she had five children under the age of five. This was during the Depression.

Just found out yesterday that I became a great uncle for the first time. My Nieca had her miracle baby on December 20th. Mario Antonio came into the world at 8lbs. 10oz. and stretched out at 20. 5/8 inches. Nikki was born with some health issues that doctors thought would not allow her to have kids. When she found out she was pregnant she was scared she'd lose it. Although it was a high pregnancy she and the baby pulled through 100%. I'm not a particularly religious person, but I got down on my knees to thank God for giving my niece a great husband and a beautiful son.
