Nina Simone did record this song in 1965 as a Civil Rights anthem, but she didn't write it herself. (It was written a year before by two people for a musical.) Nina's version is the one on my playlist, but Buble does it justice.

Michael is this generation's Harry Connick, Jr., who was his generation's Frank Sinatra, who was his generation's Bing Crosby. You can't go wrong with the standards! This is actually a Broadway tune: it was written for the 1964 musical, "The Smell of Greasepaint, the Roar of the Crowd." Muse does an outstanding hard-rock version of it, as well: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/edOnhbSir9nJl6s.html

So pleased you are so open to trying something like this . I love the way you show respect to all sorts of music. A great artist will take a song and interprete it in such a way that it becomes something much better. Best example of this - in my opinion is Barbra Streisand doing Not While I'm Around which is from the musical Sweeny Todd. It is a stunning work of art. (and I like AC/DC!)
