And yes I agree with you but come on not even a graphic upgrade? Some of us wanted to play in 4K you know? I normally play handheld but most people play dock so to them it’s not much of an upgrade not to mention that the original switch didn’t even come with Lans cable you gotta see some disgruntlement somewhere

I'm mad that they're resolving nitpicks and not actual glaring issues, yeah. I'm buying joycon sticks in 4 packs on Amazon these days, but sure, I should just be happy about a wider kickstand.

@@feliscatus4922 i’m not saying that they never should’ve released it. I am just agreeing with the statement above. Nobody asked for it. But it does have some really neat features. I know companies can’t make all their decisions based on what the Fanbase once alone, but they can sometimes take some feedback from them so it’s almost a win win.

The technology existed; the technology to create a hybrid console that is small, and make it have a battery able to withstand higher processing power, and have the capabilities to do real 4K and maintain 60fps, doesn’t exist/is not viable in terms of something you could sell to a casual.

If they do end up making GI available im Switch, then that would be an impressive technical feat. Because i don't think Nintendo with that old hardware will be able to support this game anytime soon.

I’m sorry that you were expecting something that no one promised you just because people on 4chan wanted to play with your emotions. Besides, Nintendo confirmed that this is NOT a switch pro, and even if they did release a switch pro with everything you wanted, people would still probably find something to be mad about.

Looks kinda cool with the white and black color scheme. I like how the dock glows and it now has a lan port. The bigger screen is supposed to have more vibrant colors, better audio, and it has a stand that won't snap after 2 uses, that's neat. If you don't already have a switch then I guess it'd be nice to get this slightly improved version, if you have the extra $50 to spare. But if you already have a switch I'd say just keep it, you aren't missing out on much otherwise. Overall I rate this an "eh" out of 10. At least when comparing it to the original switch.

@@twewymuncher How? The DSi XL and the 3DS XL are larger version of their normal counterparts. The OLED Switch is literally the same size as the previous Nintendo Switch. It’s NOT an XL at all.

@@heckno15yearsago it is an XL lmfao it has a bigger screen like a 3DS XL. They shrink the bezel on the older switch to add more screen realestate on the same sized hardware. And the screen is actually better on this system than the 3DS XL.

Unpopular opinion: we didn’t get what we wanted with the OLED model but it’s a good model of the switch for people who don’t already have one because it has many quality of life changes that even though they weren’t what we needed, are still good.

Listen I get it, maybe i overhyped myself with all the leaks, but to be honest, I dont give a crap for any new models, I just want non-drift Joy-Cons. I havent used my joy-cons in years, even though the potential for them is out of the roof. I just wish that they would fix the bigger problems than solving the smaller ones.

This feels more directed to the people who either don't have a switch or mostly play on the go. I'm not either of these, so I probably wont be picking it up, but at least I'm not complaining like everyone else is about an upgrade that was never confirmed. I hope those white joy-cons will also be sold in their own pack though, I really like them.

I’m just glad we got a switch model with a usable kickstand. The oled screen can be better for games with darker lighting but I’m just mainly going to buy it for the kickstand

I feel like this shouldn’t be as expensive as it is. The switch has been out for a while, so why not sell this model for the price the original switch was sold at at launch? It just doesn’t seem worth the extra $50 given the current information we have, though this might be a super dated take if anything else is revealed about it lol The official white joy cons are pretty cool tho. I hope they come separately because I’d like to possibly get them

@@lol-ih1tl from experience with me and others the 32gb we are given is not enough, most electronics now and in the past have at base 64gb so that should have been in the switch from the start enhances audio is not enough info to see how much money its worth the oled screen is the only real upgrade we know about and 50$ just for a oled screen is not worth it

ok but i can actually partially agree with twitter this time. why? i kept my expectations low for the switch "pro" and was still dissapointed. but it still seems worth it for ppl who havent bought a switch lol. im still sad they didnt add themes or improved joycons. that was literally all i wanted.

I would never believe the switch would run at 4k unless that installed this thing which i forgot what it was called. People didnt complain not because of the leaks, but because this isnt a improvement at all, i hope this getting no sales so Nintendo can step up their game.

I never really kept up with the Switch Pro leaks and I kind of didn't care about them to be honest. The OLED model was a bit disappointing to me though. It's fine for someone who doesn't have a Switch,but why bother paying +$50 on a OLED screen,LAN slot,and a more flexible stand that might break off in 4 months? They should try to at least fix the Joy Con drift or something.

-Slightly wider OLED screen -higher audio quality -wider stand -Lan port on the dock -double the amount of storage I feel very mixed about this new model. Probably a net positive reaction for me, but Nintendo could have done a few more improvements like better joy con, consistent 1080p, consistent 60fps, etc.

Well, umm, it's got a nice OLED screen, as the name implies. It's slightly bigger than the regular Switch's screen. And uh, there's a built-in Ethernet port in the new dock... replacing a USB one... Oh! And a wider stand that's more stable!
