This is entirely opinion based. Charlie did get the higher ratings but Walden made Allen.....Gay which was funny. There was more women when Charlie was on the show. When Ashton Kutcher took over it became a bit morbid at first and then sort of just twisted. So it depends on how you see the show. But both had there flaws

i think the reason why Charlie Sheen was so damn good in this series was because of the way he delivers his lines coupled with the fact that he actually LIVED that lifestyle in real life..so delivering his lines was so easy..hes truly talented and acting comes pretty natural to him..his line delivery and scenery usage are on point and effortless..plus he did ad lib a lot.. chuck lorre was stupid for firing him..which cost him a ton of money in court when charlie sued him successfully. about 25 mil if i remember

3 of them were in "Hot Shots" together. Charlie was the main one in both. John Cryer was the one in the first film, he was the one who had terrible eye sight. The one who plays Judith's husband in this clip was in the second Hot Shots film.

Myra should've gotten a recurring role as Herb's sister. But then Judy Greer came back as Walden's ex-wife, Bridget. It's kind of odd for one actor to have two different characters in one sitcom. Also Jennifer Taylor playing some minor roles as a couple of Charlie's girlfriends and one-night stands in earlier seasons and then getting a recurring role as Chelsea. I guess they earned it.

Berta said Myra was a "sweet girl?" She sure didn't know her! Myra had such a sharp, caustic tongue. And she turned out to be just using Charlie, the same way he used so many women. Afterwards he felt the same way all those women felt after he dumped them. It didn't make him change his ways, though!

It’s probably because of the settlement. Courts usually have to sign off on housing for the kids and if he didn’t have his own room he wouldn’t be able to stay with his father.

I’m not saying it’s common, or even that it’s what the writers intended, only that it’s a logical explanation for an otherwise illogical situation. It could also be that Alan wants him to have the room so that he’s more comfortable. It’s a sacrifice on his part.
