Always great to see these repairs just in case. Going on year three I'm still yet to see Baldwin anything with exception of the puzzle lock Frank's twin and less uptight brother sent.

Very instructive, especially how to locktite your hands

Nice work! I have a cheapy set of channel locks that I drilled a hole through the lower jaw to make it easier to press out those pins. Less of a pain in the tail than having to hold them off-center.

I was going to ask if you worked on Marks Mortise locks and here I see it on the screen you did one 6 months ago. I got some Marks and Baldwin mortise locks but I got to figure out what function they are. Great video by the way as always.

Nice Video, I'm sure I have seen that Knipex hammer in previous videos. Would you ever consider heating up the metal prior to trying to bend it back in shape?

Nice, after seeing you do a video on these back in your shop, I recognise what your doing, and now seeing problems live on a job, really informative and cool! I wonder if you need a small container you can use with a lid, and you can dip screws in lock tight, like an old film canister or something smaller.. I assume the locktight won't dry out/harden if there is a lid. Then use a magnetic screwdriver or tweezers. (Maybe it isn't practical, just a thought)

Hey, you're using one of those Plano Edge tackle boxes. I was thinking about giving them a shot to make a pin kit. How do you find they hold up to getting thrown around and rattling around the van... Do the dividers and clasp seem secure enough? Also these mortise lock videos are some of my favorites. Bird sounds make a great accompanying musical backdrop too 🦜
