Please watch with subtitles
This momentous American adventure draws to a close with this decidedly tropical finale. 700 miles stand between our current position of Columbia SC and our ultimate target of Miami, and Greg and I are excited to hit the road once more. However when hurricane Ian makes an unexpected left turn, we are forced to abandon our plans to explore South Carolina and Georgia, and suddenly find ourselves in a race to beat the hurricane to the Floridian East coast, where we endure a nerve-racking nights sleep in the car. When angry Ian finally passes, we can finally begin our final hurrah. The original plan was to cruise into Miami on jet skis in incredibly 80s, Miami Vice-esque suits, and dance the night away to GTA Vice city songs. However this isn't exactly how it turned out...

@@karolakkolo123 Na, I just think it's kinda messed up that it's still sitting in this guys garage if the guys at GeoWizard were supposed to find someone to buy it. Especially so if they are expecting any kind of money back for it since the thing is worth maybe $500 or probably more as scrap. I'm sure if trey started charging them storage fees they'd get rid of it quicker. Out of sight out of mind for them I guess. I feel like they are taking advantage of his kindness. Don't get me wrong I loved their series, but every time they started giggling like little girls when they were pawning something off to some poor sap kinda bugged me.

@@Brad-ku9yu that’s pretty wide of the mark. We paid $3700 for that car and it has struggled to find a buyer for less than that price presumably because of the lack of seats. We’re very grateful for their help and are giving them 20% of the sale

Do you want to own Victoria? because she is still for sale! She sits patiently on Megan and Trey's drive for her next loving owner to whisk her off on a new adventure. Remember, she has no seats in the back, so while she doesn't make a great family car, she is perfect for a road trip. If you've been planning a road trip of your own, maybe even a (south to north) east coast trip, what better vehicle to do it in? @@AbdelAbdallasPage They're trying to recoup the funds, not spend more. People that are smart with their money don't spend it unwisely like that. It would end up costing more than the car is worth to ship it overseas... Also, there's the fact that its an American car which is a left-hand drive vehicle, meant to drive on the right-hand side of the road. Of course, in the UK it's the complete opposite.
@AbdelAbdallasPage
@AbdelAbdallasPage Жыл бұрын
@@gliixo I know full well that the cost of shipping it would be more than they paid for the car. That was not the point of me commenting what I said - I felt like I covered that by saying "if you have the money". Sometimes, an item means more to an individual than the value they can get from selling it. From watching the series, it felt like the car was bigger than a mode of transport and some people would pay anything to keep that (Search up Richard Hammond and Oliver from the Top Gear Botswana special). I simply pointed out that they can keep the car in the UK if wanted to. Plus I'm from the UK so I know full well what side of the road we drive on. I also know multiple people with imported cars in the UK that have the driver's seat on the 'wrong' side just because they like the car.

If I could make a slightly-biased suggestion, I think both you and audiences would love a "How not to travel Canada" series. There's so much to offer up here, lots of friendliness even though it's stereotypical, beautiful sights and honestly I just think you'd be able to get a lot of entertainment and content out of it. Maybe starting in the east and heading to the west end, or vice versa, and if you could somehow manage to get one of the territories into the itinerary then you'd have loads more unique experiences to see. Maybe if you have lofty enough ambitions, you could try to hit all 13 provincial/territorial capital cities, or at least set foot in all 13 provinces and territories, with the challenge being that you can only use flights for Nunavut and nowhere else (Because you can't drive into Nunavut much, lol)

I’ve found it pretty funny that you’ve called this and the previous series How Not To Travel, because this is like 100 times more inspiring than someone recording a journey like this, doing all the same places but driving all the time or going by train down the East Coast. By involving so many real and genuine people, you encourage people to do the same on their own travels. Because travelling in conventional ways can be so boring, by travelling in the way you and Greg have done, you make it so much more than just a cool adventure. Here’s to the next one, I’m a Patreon supporter so I’ve seen the post teasing your next adventure, so I avidly look forward to that! Take care, mate!

Top notch content! Couldn’t comment while I watched on my TV but just want to say how much I enjoyed that series. The fact you work so hard to provide this entertainment really works wonders. There’s a lot of hard lives going on in the world right now and for people to sit and relax and enjoy what you provide really does give something small for these people to look forward to. I rarely comment on videos but you create masterpieces on this platform in your own integral way and I have to admit it’s a breath of fresh air for me when times are hard. Keep doing what your doing mate! ❤ Jay PS the CD selections were so on point!

I got hooked in immediately and was so excited to see this final installment. Well done, you've made an epic series and restored much of my faith in my country-people.
