I have a garage, it measures, 21 ft four inches by 19 feet 7 inches. By the way the 19 feet 7 inches is the length of two cars pulling into the garage facing the house with a door leading into the home. I have one window currently to the left on the wall that is 19 feet 7 inches. The sun sets and I get pretty good lighting in the evening. I do have a faucet for a “garage sink” that has been removed. Faucet is there (eyesore and the plumbing for sewer and not sure of the other pipe hole. Currently I have a king size bed, a large sofa and a kitchen table and a cedar chest and an armoire and book shelves in a corner. Two dressers. I hate it! I really need storage. I can’t after four years decide where to build a closet? Should I add a sink or bathroom? This would require permits. I have used this room as a master bedroom but it was meant for a family room. It has a wall unit AC. Ceiling fan and two recessed lights I had installed. It has an all house fan in the ceiling and attic space. The wall where it used to be the garage door, has a shell walk through door. It is across from the original door that leads into the house. Honestly, I have thought about relocating the doors but hadn’t started that project. I bought a glass door for the room into the house. I wanted to throw away this wood door from 1989. But that is not as important as figuring out the best way to make this room functional! This western home lacks storage. I do have a 30x40 two story shop about 70 feet or so south of the house. It’s at its capacity lol. I’m curious with my dimensions what you could come up with. I do own a king and I have queen size beds. I love the use of wall unit shelves for storing decor or family heirlooms. We have many books from six generations back! It’s a country home and dust is friendly! Which is why I crave a closet to store linens and such.

What a two bedroom garage conversion look like I have a daughter with two kids so I would like to convert my Garage to include a bedroom for my daughter and another bedroom for her two kids. What would that look like?
