Thermal drones are the live scope of hunting

I run a drone deer recovery business. I had over 60 recoveries last year. A lot of bucks never get recovered that are now being found with thermal drones

@@Cooper0307 a lot of people use them to locate bucks to go hunt them ! They already busted a handful of people doin it here in louisiana ! It’s a dangerous line we are treading on

Using them to hunt them should not be allowed by any means however there’s really nothing they can do. The drone rules are enforced by the FAA. Anybody can fly a drone and if they choose to abuse that on them, they really can’t prove that they’re flying the Drone to hunt Deer and unfortunate but it’s that way with anything, people go out at night and shoot deer, thermal scopes and then go retrieve them the next morning people doing all it all the time, I don’t approve of any of this. This is the world we live in hope that people can learn how to just do the right thing and have some integrity.

I would never use my drone or take money to locate a big buck for somebody that takes the fun out of hunting. You do have to draw the line somewhere but if there’s a wounded deer and they can’t find it, we owe it to the Deere find him so he can be retrieved, and honored in the right way

Another problem is the clients can see other bucks while tryin to locate the wounded buck! Shows em the exact spot they are at

I believe the best days of hunting are yet to come because we understand management much better on so many different levels these days. Its not genetics it nutrition!

What would The Ranch Fairy say about that first hit lol you need way more FOC. A 575+ arrow would have passed all the way through that buck. Great story!
