Love all your techniques, I too try too hard at perfection but learned a good lesson from my daughter who said to me "Mom, your recipient doesn't know what it's suppose to look like in YOUR mind!" So, good advice and once again the pupil becomes the teacher. You're so cheerful, and I love the pudgy stars!☆ Hope to hear back but I know you're busy.

@@czdesign btw, Jennifer told me she hasn’t been using her Nicole on air because, sadly, she dropped it on some glass and it chipped. I surprised her with one of my rare green translucent tools. She used it yesterday I believe. It just made me feel so good! Your loyalty makes me feel so cared about. I know it’s as much as the tool itself. I’m fiercely loyal too! Thanks for giving me a reason to get up in the mornings.

I love your cards but would really like to see you do a card that does not have rainbows in each one. I would like to see you do cards like your Halloween ones with 2 or 3 very bold and out of the box colors.

One of my early mentors Yuriko used to call me "Little Miss Perfect" in her classes, because I would fuss and fuss and fuss. In her beautiful Japanese accent, she told me "If it perfect, it not hand made!" Love it you are of the same mind Cathy. These are so lovely.

LOL. I've pulled out my muscle with my stamp press on small stamps too, and I've even gone ham on some sentiments where they went from fine line to a bold font. Must eat Wheaties *after* done stamping. I love that you could have so easily started that second card over when you saw the second tree come out lavender, but didn't. Love those little serendipitous moments in card making. Cute cards!!

Does anyone else wonder how these lovely creators are so tidy? Also how do they not make any kind of boo boos on their projects!! 🤔🤔 lovely video CZ, so inspirational!! Oh I meant to say I often forget about tone on tone & how simple yet elegant in can be!! I have also been trying to let go of the “perfect” expectations I have on my cards & it is much more enjoyable

I just tried it with the sandwich for my sizzix big shot, to stencil, and then I thought I would try inking with distress oxide and a brush before removing the stencil. the results turned out so well! Embossed color! Thanks for the idea!

Gorgeous! I alway think of you and chuckle when I’m placing sequins because (I think as I’m working) Cathy says “boop” but I’m counting each one as I glue it even though I counted each one as I placed it. 😆

Love both cards Cathy! They are both so clean and simple yet absolutely lovely. I love the way you turn so-called mistakes into a plus (purple tree twice). Love that purple got some extra love for a change. This stamp set and coordinating dies is a winner!
