In this video, I am over in Mid Wales on an off road overland adventure with Andy from Kent Survival. We are driving along an ancient drovers road from the old Abbey of Ystrad Fflur, a rough and challenging track with technical climbs, axle twisting rocky features and water, lots of water!
With a relaxed wild camp in our roof tents along the way, big burgers, good beer and superb company, it was a fantastically good fun weekend.

This will make you laugh. I was watching this video and my 9yo daughter came in to watch it with me. She asked me if I was watching Simon a Bloke in the woods and I said yes. She then asked me pointing at Andy ‘is that Simon’s dad’. I laughed out loud. Maybe don’t tell Andy…😂😂😂

I envy the both of you, Simon and Andy. As an old geezer (82 yrs) here in the US, all of my camping partners have passed or not able to camp anymore. I would love to camp with the two of you sometime, but that is not possible. Enjoy your life and make all the memories you can. Some day it will end and you will have to reflect back on those memories. Cheers from the US.
