@patrickseiber5515 жыл бұрын
The t model stands for trouble! That model dozer has a lot of problems. The drive gears in the planetary are to small. They bust all the time! The steering gears are the same way. The lgp models has more problems out of the steering gears and the planetary than the standard track. We have t models come in often with planetary problems or electrical issues. Cat really went backwards on the t model.

If you don’t count that single Italian dozer (ACCO) that was built, the 575 was the largest production built dozer. Komatsu discontinued it because there just hasn’t been enough demand for that size of machine.
@frankbertola36624 жыл бұрын
@@jeremymeyer8800 point taken on the 575 being the largest production dozers my assertion is cat capped horsepower because of their dominance (fact) and the inability of the hi Trac (3.5 teeth) to handle higher loading than the d11's as compared to a full wrap sprocket flat Trac ie the 575

@frankbertola36623 жыл бұрын
Paul the only logical answer is CAT dominates and the hi Trac cannot with 3.5 teeth on the chain, put power to more traction. For better or for worse just ask an owner operator who's tracks last longer.

You can see and feel the pile off the edge of the blade while pushing and especially when it sluffs off at the edge. New cat skinners often take too big a bite. The really good operators can tell so much just by feel. I was told by a veteran skinner to only use a third of the blade, material will pile up naturally. Seems to work after 25 years.

She can push 65/75 yards capacity, plus the over flow. You can easily estimate around 95/110, depending on the material. Consider that the operating weight of the 575 A is between 152 and 160 metric tons depending on blade and ripper configuration. I hope I've answered your question some how.
