Two Fishing Trips I’ll Never Forget! Grouper Catch and Cook! plus KIDS Fishing Trip!

In this episode I take Chasten and her family out in search of their first ever swordfish. We fished years ago and missed a bite but this trip had a different result! After a few hours of fishing we hooked a nice swordfish which gave an exciting fight! After 35 minutes we put the fish in the boat and then had a school of mahi swim up to the boat. On the way back to shore we stopped for some deep dropping and caught a big snowy grouper which I wind up cooking part of for dinner! The second part of the video we take the Mission Fishin' crew and a bunch of families out on the Miss Islamorada! It was a beautiful day on the water with lots of throw back fish but the kids and families were all smiling and having fun. If you guys want to participate or make a donation head over to

I have spent thousands of dollars on private charters, long range trips, multi night expeditions. The short trip on the Miss Islamorada doing yellowtail snapper fishing was one of the best. Top tier.

Would really love to see Nick fish more! You should invest in a chest strap or a head strap for the go pro! You’ll be able to fish and continue to film yourself and everyone else

I truly love when Bouncer is on board. He's a fishing legend. I remember when I was in my 20s, the 1980s), watching Mark Sosin's World of Salt Water Fishing with Capt Bouncer on the show. Good times.

Nick you are truly a gentlemen and gifted. Giving back is a noble cause and salute you for what you do. I am an avid angler going offshore every time yearly. It’s in my bucket list to perhaps one day would be fishing with you for swords! I belong to a non profit organization and been blessed to be part of it. We fundraiser to support our scholarship program and the muscular dystrophy foundation thru golf tournaments which I am the committee chair. Nick, when you cook the fish on the grille cut thin slices of some lemons and place the fish on top of them. It wont stick at all and lemons will add great taste to it

Well done Nick. I could NEVER adapt to squealing tourists. You are greater man than I sir. Dear God....it has become Mouse World on the water. Whatever pays the bills I guess. Swords have a better edit (nice), not so tedious watching the pole do the work. I love the Mission Fishin idea.

Been a while since I sent you a message. But if by chance you remember me, I take my daughter’s to Miami from Sarasota every 4-5 months for eye cancer check-up and we are heading there on the 21st this month. I hope to stay in Homestead for a night or 2 and run down to Islamorada and fish from bridges and snorkel at boat ramp area by you. And of course swing in to Bud and Mary’s and walk the dock and maybe get lucky and see you and say hi. Love your channel and awesome life in the Keys.

Usually put enough fuel in to fish two or three trips and then fill up 3/4 of the way
