This series was incredible. I remember watching it with my grandmother. She loved cooking shows and we really enjoyed this when it was airing. It would be great to have the whole lot here if that's possible. I've only been able to find a few episodes floating around over the years.

I started watching these episodes during the pandemic. I am happy to see this one, especially from my neighboring Trentino-Alto Adige. Thank you for sharing this special video, especially with well-known foods and stories from the past.

Hilarious, informative, and timeless video series! Only Gennaro could respectfully follow-up a story about war and famine with 21:38! Also, while the practicality of dry-aging was more about preservation for your family's survival and not wasting meat, modern taste-tests with dry-aged meat suggest that 30 days is subjectively the best due to the flavor becoming exponentially funky after that point.

It does not work as you show in the video: you need a permission to take mushrooms and you have to respect specific rules than you have to let verify the mushrooms you take because often they could be poisoned or toxic. If you do it without permission you risk an high fee to pay.
