I convinced my dad to get this game in his PS4 so we could duel each other. I crafted a god card and told him I "just got lucky in a pull" then proceeded to kill him with it. I felt bad a taught him how to craft cards. He somehow didn't know how too

Always loved Slifer the first time Yugi summoned him was amazing, the way he wraps around the blimp and his head panning in, although I love all 3 can't decide. Obelisk is Raw power and destruction, his effect is amazing, Ra the way you have to chant to get him out because in the anime he was the most powerful of all.

It's time! I've been waiting for this duel since it was alluded to like 4 seasons ago.

Best god is Ra just because it has so many more support cards. Ancient Chant is especially important because it makes it possible to search it out/recover it from the Graveyard consistently, which _itself_ can be searched with the Guardian Slime. Whereas the others have to rely solely on something like activating and destroying Mound of the Bound Creator which is counter-intuitive given that it's one of the best means of protecting them, and Ra has that Quick-Play card that makes it unaffected by card effects for a turn. Then Obelisk because it has built-in targeting protection. Last is Slifer because of its reliance on cards in the hand, and the fact that the ATK reduction only takes place if a monster is summoned in _attack_ position specifically. In terms of aesthetic? Slifer at number 1, Obelisk 2nd, and Ra 3rd.

Personally, Im a big Obelisk fan myself. Guaranteed 4000 attack and defense and constant spell and trap protection

The fact that you had to edit in the summon animations from Duel Links to make the Egyptian God cards more hype is hilarious to me

Slifer is my favorite of the gods(mostly because i love dragons) and is techincally the first ygo monster i knew about but unfortuately with Ra being ra, it got tons more support than Slifer and Oblelisk with them getting what i like to call "second-hand support"

I had something happen to me last night that resembled the first duel. Both me and my opponent bricked super hard but the only cards that we were drawing were counters to any play we tried to make. Like he would Ash Blossom my dragon maid and then he would get his snowball rolling with Elemental Heroes only for me to top deck a Raigeki and blow them all up, only for him to draw another Ash Blossom when I drew a dragon maid. It was a 30 minute long duel of fucking NOTHING happening lmao I did end up winning by sheer luck tho when I just happened to draw a Changeover to get a Sheou out.

I wish I knew these recipes I want to give these a shot sometime
