The thing about warframe guys is that it gets so much better the later you are in the game. So if the beggining would seem boring, it's worth to stilgo through, because everything after is so great

Welcome to warframe chaps. A few tips: Don't speed run in the early game, take your time. Explore the maps. There are hidden places throughout the maps that may contain rare crates that drop new landing craft parts. Also bullet jumps are just sliding then jumping. Much faster than rolling around. Also unfortunately the vast majority of the mainline story is solo only so you will be forced to play solo to actually progress through the story. Which I recommend you do asap because just how much of the game opens up to you the more you progress through the story.(and as such a strongly recommend that you don't fall into the trap of the open worlds this early in the game, they will slow down your story progression quite a lot. So at least until you absolutely need to I would only do what's needed to progress the story and move on, you can always come back later) When you revive yourself it costs affinity(basically 10% of the total earned xp for the mission) so be careful reviving yourself too much or youll lose a bunch of xp.

I'm not completely against going straight for story but I would advise against ignoring everything else. There's a lot a variety in the game and it's easy to get burned out doing only one part of it.

Don't hesitate to ask questions about the game wether it's on YT or directly ingame in the question chat. We all have been to the same stage of "I like it but I dunno what I'm doing" and the comunity is super caring about new players

A few advices and infos that I would have liked to know when I started : -mastery lvl is about how much stuff you max leveled at least once (lvl 30 for most of it there's some that go up to 40 but you'll get to there later)) so don't sell away anything until it reached max lvl -when you revive yourself in mission, you use a portion the warframe and weapon exp you acquired (10% each time I believe) through the current mission. Try to revive yourself as little as possible when you're at the begining and not leveling stuff as fast as you'll do later -try to do each nodes (mission) on each and every planet, because when you'll want to start some harder but more rewarding content later on you'll have to do every nodes -when a mod requires a lot of creditsto be maxed level (like serration, vitality etc which have 10 levels) do max it out yet, do it later when you'll have more ressources -join a clan as soon as you can (or create one if you're not alone to farm ;-;) because there's some warframes and weapons that are exclusive to dojo labs -do not use your free 50 plats for cosmetics, as we have a limited amount of frame, weapons, etc, that we can possess. Use them to buy slots in the inventory -DO NOT, BY ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, GO ON THE TRADE CHAT For now try to focus on the main quest and trying stuff out to see what kind of gameplay you prefer Finally, have fun ;)

Just an FYI if you're looking for a challenge, you wont really get it untill you get to Jupiter, and even then it's not immense; if you know what your doing and how to build your weapons and frames you wont actually struggle untill Pluto. In any case though Second Dream is the end of "the Tutorial" (early game), mid game lasts till New War, end game content is unlocked after that by completing the star chart and unlocking "The Steel Path" which is just: Do it again enemy level +100 loot x2

I've got a few movement tips that i think you'll appreciate later on. If you press jump while doing a bullet jump you'll cancel the bullet jump animation, but you'll keep the momentum(which is very important) and you can continue this by doing a roll(yes you can do them mid air) so you pretty much combine the momentum from the bullet jump with the roll. I always use this to get around in this game and in multiple situations ive out run a lot of people who weren't using it XD. This next one is pretty interesting (but you won't use it a ton if there aren't any walls) if you do a wall jump you gain back a double jump if you have used it (one thing to note: a bullet jump can be used instead of a double jump if you haven't used it already which means you can continuously do bullet jumps if you do wall jumps, so you can pretty much scale any wall lol)

Good time to start, after multiple waves of quality of life improvements, and status reworks, and health type simplifications, and UI updates. When a mob has a giant indicator on his head that looks like a red dagger or an orange arrow stuck in a target - you can "finish" the enemy with your interact button.

You will have plenty of opportunity to run "nodes" w your friends which are just the blue diamonds/missions but if its a story mission then you'll probably be forced to do it solo. Not all quests are like that but some are. The color of your melee when you swing it is what you customize it to be. I believe its the energy color

You have no idea how Warframe vets are interested to see new players. The sad thing generally is that most of them stops after one or two video and don't even reach the Second Dream. Let's hope you two will be different

Ah tenno , you will love warframe milk the content out of the game , if someone says the game has too many microtansactions , don't worry you can make your plat back from selling prime parts and arcanes, Here is a tip do not use your free starting plat on rushing fabrication, use it for weapon slots and warframe slots

QnA chat in chat menu is a resource. This, the wiki, and the drop tables that you can fibd all over the wiki are your freinds. Ask someone in qna(provide your most recently done qeust) and theyll let you know if its something you should farm. Ont enable region chat in setting unless your ready for spoilers or brainrot. Nixikuro(there should be 2 i think, send it to both theyre all me) if you want some basic mods and freind to do crazy shit. I wont play the game for you but i will definitly help with the grind.
