The camera on the opposite bank is a great addition to the video…just staring at your back for an hour wasn’t great! I know it must’ve been a nightmare for you editing it, but it’s so much better to watch imo 👍

Hi Joe, enjoyed the video, found it very informative 😅. However, youare losing time rebaiting (7-10 seconds) try changing your bait bands. Weldtite cycle valve rubber cut double width will keep a 6ml pellet on much better. If I use a dozen pellets during a match I'm having a bad day!

I use a lasso when doing this style of fishing. But usually use up my old hooklengths for days like this

Cracking video JC! It’s funny how when people are catching 10oz carp vs 10oz skimmers, the difference between what’s seen as a good day or a good method. 😊

I use rod and line and my waggler is between two float stops and an olivette on another stop .as bulk on main line . Then a tiny swivel onto hook length with drop shot . If you're float is held top and bottom with silicone sleeve why not just move your float instead of having the expense of all those top sections , madness to me .
@MatchFishingFilms
@MatchFishingFilms Жыл бұрын
Because I want to keep a set length of line between the float and Pole tip to maximise hitting bites
@MatchFishingFilms
@MatchFishingFilms Жыл бұрын
In the summer for instance I will have as little as two inches of line between pole tip and float. This will be the same across all of the rigs.

Great tutorial Joe, I am practicing this method and I learnt a lot. I have a very old series 4 Sensas pole, can you buy universal F1 kits? Oh! Can I also say you are the Manchester City of tutoring? Hope you beat Wolves👍👕👕👕
@MatchFishingFilms
@MatchFishingFilms Жыл бұрын
Is that a good thing 🤣 Your best bet would be to measure the base of your top kits. I seem to remember the map browning and sensas all having the same bore at the base as well as maver. As I used to use browning kits on my maver pole back in the day.

Hi Joe, great demo again, can I quickly ask if starting at an f1 venue on let’s sat a 20inch strung out rig and have no bites, do you automatically go shallower or deeper? Many thanks
