This is the most hype thing to happen to Warcraft in the last 10 years. Seeing grubby and sky together is bigger than the announcement of wc3 reforged.

What a wholesome and satisfying little treat - a window into who and how Grubby is in a context other than seated in front of a computer (as much as we all love to witness this man repeatedly display creative mastery of his craft). If I understand the history of Grubby and Sky's relationship correctly, they aren't really "friends" in the colloquial sense. They're two professionals and former competitors who practiced together for a brief but intense period, once upon a time. And yet look at the collection of sincere compliments Grubby piles onto Sky in this short meeting, while maintaining an expression that is some heartwarming mixture of glee, innocence, and reverence throughout. -"He popularized WC3 in China, really put it on the map, and WC3 became so much extra big thanks to his efforts" -"You wouldn't need a lot of time to be pro again" -"One of the hardest workers... what you did with the Human race, like - nobody was playing WC3 from China yet at tournaments. You came out of nowhere, and then... I think you made Warcraft so popular in China. You really changed WC3 in China." (Sky then points out that Grubby is also deserving of such praise) -"Ever since that day, ah, that was really one of my favorite days of Warcraft ever because... you were so hard to beat, you're a very strong opponent... and every game, you win one, I win one, you win one, every time small changes, and it's so cool to see how you think about the game, and how you changed your style every game. It's fun to play with such a high-level player like you." I'd like to imagine a medieval encounter between two wise old men from different countries at an inn over a mug of ale would look similar to this. Both former generals of armies, renowned across the land for their peerless skills, fierce competitors, no longer needing to be at odds with one another, relaxed. The mutually gratifying sharing of memories and compliments, now that the pressure of real competition has been lifted, and time has passed. Except, as fits our time in history, these are virtual generals commanding computer-generated soldiers, perhaps some of the last generations to do so at the highest level before the inevitable takeover and dominance of AI, as it has done to chess, go, and of course games like WC and SC if it were not artificially APM limited. Would love to see more collaborative WC3 content, with Sky and others. I'm sure other former and current pros would love to jump onto the creative/fun-focused Grubby style of WC3. I was 15ish years old during wc3 prime and it was the first game i followed the pro scene closely and it's arguably my favorite e-sport game even today, even though I dont play it or watch it as much. There was very little outside of game content compared to today so it was only text interviews and replays pretty much. Thank you for sharing this, it's nice to see what the players I respected are up to these days and get a bit more insight what was happening back then behind the scenes.

Two legends is an understatement. Two gods! For those of you who don't know, Sky is one of the immortal gods of WC3. Let's put it this way: he is the only Human player in the history of the game that is often put even above Infi. The consensus #2 Human player ever is TH000, and for #1 people will say either Infi or Sky. Most purists like myself will say Sky, because Sky's dominance from early 2005 to late 2006 is only comparable to Happy's dominance from 2019 to 2022 It's really nice of you to have Sky in your stream, Grub, considering that he was your Nemesis when you were in your prime. Your biggest rivalries were with Moon and Lyn, but the player with the highest win rate ever Vs you was Sky. No dissing, Grubby, you are my favorite player ever by far, and in all fairness to you the Human Vs Orc matchup back in the 2000's was clearly imbalanced in favor of Human(Sky rush was unstoppable with tier-1 Orc economy). But yeah, even when you were the #1-2 best player in the World from 2004 to 2008(with Moon), sky beat you like 80% of the time. I remember your replays at the old wcreplays-com. Sky was to you what 120 is to Lyn now: the one player you couldn't consistently beat no matter what.

2v2 with Sky and Grubby? Can the 2v2 ladder contain such power? Also, possibly fun challenge: You each macro your own race, but you micro eachother's! So Sky builds units, gets upgrades etc,. but Grubby controls them and vice versa.

Really wholesome! I wish more people from my country (Poland) were more open to talk in English (or any foreign language) even if they have some gaps to fill. The message still gets across, and this is what communication is about! But maybe it's not Sky's innate openness, maybe it's the alcohol haha. It's truly remarkable how Grubby has found a friend, on the other side of the world, thousands and thousands of kms away from home and just caught up with him after like 10years not talking to him in person and now they share a beer at his home with his wife and talk about the old days and ALL of that just because we have that one big passion in common that is Warcraft3TFT. I can't express enough how absolutely awesome this felt as a fan, I couldn't possibly imagine how awesome it must feel for these two warriors, battling it out over the years fighting in the WCG (back then the most prestigious tournament you could possibly win)! Just wow.

I try to suggest funny to watch ideas: 1- Sorcerer make much invisible units to create a hidden maze of units in front of opponent base to see strange pathing for them. maybe hidden worms rash afterwards. 2- Swap bases right on the start, just keep the goldmine, miners and GreatHall. Rest of the base will be your friends race buildings 3- Double UD with DRangers and mass banshees with the goal, just to steal as many opponent units as possible
