Two Marshall Crawler's Slow Race & Startup

A pair of exceptionally rare Field Marshall Fowler conversion crawler tractors go head to head on the slow race track followed by a demonstration of the various unique ways the Marshall single cylinder engines are started. The Fowler crawlers where manufactured from partially completed Gainsborough built Field Marshall tractors by Fowler of Leeds, England. Filmed at Pioneer Acres Museum of Irricana, Alberta.

I was looking at photos I got back in 2011 at an antique farm machine show in Georgetown Ohio and I saw one of those but did not know what it was and I totally forgot I photographed it until I was going thru the pics

Thought people here would like this, at 38:11, there's a slow race involving 4 SuperLandini hot bulb tractors, contestant's eliminated once the engine runs backwards, and at 40:57, there is a drag race involving 2 early model SuperLandinis! kzfaq.info/get/bejne/iNiIlKeE0JfKnKs.html

strangely enough, I just use a bunch of old Sony 220's, reliable, compact and affordable. They seem to have good recording qualities despite being a nearly ten year old design.

I actually am not sure, based on the number extant i am guessing few sold here, but they where low production as it was.

I have a question about Lanz tractors. Did any actually sell in the US, and did Lanz have any dealers here. They are quite uncommon here, and I'm guessing thats because of the great depression and WWII (who wants a German tractor), which is why almost none if any were sold here.

Yes they actually had a small dealer network throughout the country.
