Sorry to hear about your eye. Hope it gets sorted soon. Strange how such a small body part can cause so much discomfort! If it is the same issue as your other eye, at least you can take comfort from knowing there is a solution, just when not if… Love the new EMUs. Wish I had seen the TMC offer on the BEP as would have gone for one. Spent my Christmas money on near perfect Brighton Belle instead!

I agree about the coupling of these units its shocking I have two of them as well but unfortunately I haven't room for them on the layout. I think perhaps your eye is worse since I was there. Mine isn’t nearly so bad but really needs fixing too. The price of models is crazy high now. TMC do a very good job. I love my 70, but still want a Freightliner 70. I may bite the bullet and buy one from OliviasTrains. I’ve been looking at photos of coach roofs and I feel my method of weathering the older ones is on target. Long train. cheers mate, Rob

I took two weeks off from the shed due to my skin graft on my head as I couldn't bend down or crawl under the bench's, so made up time at the table making models. Many people who get a bit older start to suffer from health problems. I also have developed some problems with my eyesight. As a modeler it has an effect on my (poo) building skills especially since I have a layout in N-scale. So the people who respond on your video are quite right. You don't need to apologize. I think we all understand what problems older modelers have to cope with. I hope you still will have the spirit to enjoy your lovely layout and model trains and I wish you a quick recovery. Graham do not worry mate get yourself well. I had some really bad news just before Christmas eve my partners son died at age of 31. My wife is in bits. I feel so sorry for her. But it has really scared me how fragile life is. Just get well first then we will see you all fighting fit. All the best Graham. 😢

Good video here Graham, sorry to hear about your eye condition but back to the trains some nice additions there, after one of the MLV parcel units myself as I could couple it to my bachmann CEP, not sure whether I will get the BEP though, as you say it is expensive and I can understand your criticism of that however from what I have seen it’s the stark reality of wanting to have DMUs and EMUs of that sort of train in OO gauge, I do have an example myself, for my Christmas present this year I got myself one of the new tooled bachmann class 158 DMUs in the Northern Rail Livery, the model is the dcc ready version and for that I paid around £278 to £288 and as you know the 158 is only a 2 car unit, good luck with the operation on your eye and hope you have as good a New Year’s Day as you can, keep up the great work.

I have a vep too again not impressed with the couplings either .Crazy prices I think created by shortages and possibly financing models that should not have made it to the production stage! I am sorry to hear of your eye condition. I can imagine how unpleasant that must be for you. I trust you will be able to get the medical assistance you clearly need. One small thought, you realise you now need to add third rail to the running lines you will be using. Lovely train.

You take your time and get better we can wait till your back to normal before seeing better videos.
