Nice one Graham really easy to follow, needed your vid to fit crew. Brill mate took the doubt and stress out of doing it. Thanks again. Graham S

I’m sorry. I’m sure you are very knowledgable on this subject. I am not. I have the same problem as you with my Flying Scotsman (The only loco I have) shorting out as it attempts to go over the points. I thought that you was going to be my saviour but alas, you just made it very confusing. You are too Umm and Err and indecisive in what you are trying to explain. Perhaps you could try again but with complete novices like myself, in mind.

Watching US from Europa is just unfathomable. Yes, there is right-wing progress here, unfortunately. But they are not lunatics in a cult like that.

Your point regarding tablets and mobiles use by teenagers is interesting. That is the way forward and having virtual train sets as a way of attracting back teenagers

Hi Graham, firstly it's lovely to see you back after your recent health issues and just make sure you carry on looking after yourself. We love the channel and seeing how the layout is progressing you have a wonderful imagination which helps "Lakeside" come to life to the viewer. I wondered if you could help at all. We are using Metcalfe bridge and retaining walls to create a split level scene where we are going to have a high street overlooking the railway. How best is it to support the retaining walls as I noticed they don't come with any backs unlike the bridges and did you just use foam on the top of these to create Kingsway high street? Many thanks Jon and Hollie.

Graham, watching your videos and seeing your layout has been something that I really enjoy. Limiting your KZfaq output is sensible, there's always a risk of burnout.

Hi Graham, I somehow missed this video when it first came out. Just watched and the running session is superb. I love your iconic trains. It’s like a celebration of the best of railways. And your layout is a great showcase. Thanks for sharing.

Is that the Class 43 sound chip? Sounds like a Class 42 with Maybach engines. The Class 43 had the MAN engine, same as the Class 22 and Class 41 D600s. Different sound completely.

Graham, we are with you. For the record, modellers everywhere have been very grateful for you time, effort and skills. This is a hobby that grows through sharing of our individual journeys. How anyone could be anything but grateful for another's contribution to that pool of knowledge just amazes me. The fact that you have gone on sharing your wisdom through times of personal difficulty is awe inspiring. Thank you again for what I have learned from watching you and I wish you and your wife absolutely the best for the future. Bye for now, John

Thank you for another superb video, Graham. Your layout is amazing and so inspirational! The running session was great. It brought back many happy memeories for me - when I was a lad, I used to watch the diesel "Twins" and the Midland Pullman running through my home town.

Hi Graham. Very glad that you have sought help. A combination of the meds and talking to others will help considerably. I know, because I've been there myself. The key is to give yourself time. You will have good days and bad days. On bad days, my therapist gave me many ways to deal with it, but 2 tips helped me the most: 1) remember the feeling will eventually pass, and 2) don't let a bad day derail you. Once it has passed, treat it like a heavy coat, and take it off and hang it up and forget it. Eventually, that chemical imbalance in the brain will be corrected, and you will feel like your old self. It could well take 6 to 9 months. Be kind to yourself, sir.

Hello Graham. Great to see you in fine form and sharing your enjoyment of your layout with the wider modelling community. Your experience with the 3-way point is interesting. Charlie at Chadwick has installed a couple in his freight yard. Whilst they undoubtedly add something to the asthetics and "play value" of the area, by his own admission, it remains to be seen whether they can deliver consistently reliable performance. Your revised pointwork is a perfectly acceptable alternative. Really enjoyed your running session. The Blue Pullman, the observation car at the rear of the Deltic's train and the amazing cyclists were particularly eye-catching. I feel for the driver of the 9F at the controls of his slow, through freight train, knowing that he'll be constantly "looped" by various signallmen as they make way for the expresses...
