Simon from the UK here.... Well what can I say. Shocking news about Brando as we all thought he would be loyal to you. He was also on the mower and does this to you. I would ask for the shirt's back and then throw them away. As for pizza .... ENOUGH SAID LOL. There's going to be a few tears as a couple of subscribers loved him . Saving Green will always bounce back, was a sad day but James will pull us through. In a way it's good timing with Danny and the new guy looking for work. Still think James should sit in the front with you Nick. Your a good man Nick so don't let them bother you now. See you tomorrow ninja's

In 2005 I started a commercial landscape company here in South FL with my parents. Truth of the matter is the single most difficult thing about running the business is the same problem everybody else has, finding good employees. I think that a lot of guys look at this job like its crap and just a quick way to make some money while they are at rock bottom, because obviously we don't always find the best of the best, but the truth is that this is a phenomenal career, with infinite possibilities. I think that those type of employees are just short sighted and they all eventually come back begging for their jobs.

Nick I definitely have to say that although it's always hard having to let someone go I think you mad a great decision. On a good note I love the way the team looks right now. Employees come and go especially in lawn care and labor extensive work. It is expected in these types of fields of work things go bad. people say things you just have to ignore them. I expected pizza to leave Brando took me buy surprise but thins happen. Also nice excavator.

Love your channel, man. Always enjoy the videos. They're hilarious and always interesting to watch. I'm just a homeowner who enjoys lawn care but I've been tempted to start mowing a few lawns around me. Once I get a new mower (Bad Boy Elite 54" Zero Turn mower) in a year or two, I might attempt to mow a few lawns for extra money. :)

There's more "curl" power than "lift" power, so when doing things like this you can take the slack out of the chain by lifting the arm with the bucket curled out, and then curl the bucket in. Did you notice how much difference there was when you used the "curl" to pull instead of the "lift" function?

By far thr BIGGEST reason why I eliminated the chances of potential employees working for me on almost every level, 1 part time ocasional guy I have work for me, on every other level I bought the bigger equipment to replace fhe employee factor, in fact after the purchase of my loader 10 years ago, the 2 guys I had working I looked them straight in the face and told them that machine is gonna eventually replace them, when they don't show up for work one day that loader will replace them pushing the wheel barrel, and it literally happened within 2 weeks they didn't show up, I didn't call them and beg and they basically quit, after that point I became 95% self reliant, now when I take those big jobs I get it done almost 100% myself unless my part time guy can work, usually I plan that stuff for a day when he can help. But as to employees, they have a ego issue where they can sometimes think they have more authority and hate being put in their place.

You can be a boss and tell your employees what to do but there is also a way to do that... my boss is always in a great mood about everything, obviously if me or someone else has a small mess up he gets a bit annoyed but he never makes us feel like bad workers. When he tells me to do something, I jump to it with no hesitation but it’s because of the way he says and or asks it... if he were to yell and scream everytime then Yea I’d say fuck You and your power trip too. I’m not saying that’s what you do man you seem like a great boss, im just expressing my opinion on the matter. Keep up the great lawn services my man !

Number 1 struggle for lawn service owners is quality help. You only get a couple yrs out of good workers because they look for work that isn't seasonal and that pays more. This season im working alone as my route has changed. Im starting to work my way out of the business. Competition is fierce, tired of the weather dictating my days/weeks. Im Ready to move on. Its been a good run.
