I will definetly be missing all them come this Monday and Tuesday. RM, V, Jimn and JK enlist on the 11th and 12th. Jin will be back in June, and Hobi in October. fun fact since you where asking. The the original song by sting (the police) was called every breath you take and is a track that's essentially about stalking your ex-lover.was written in 1982 when Sting was suffering what he called a “mental breakdown” amid the disintegration of his first marriage. Beautifull song none the less and a great cover/ remake of the song.

They did this cover referring to the fans cuz they can’t see them due to the pandemic , in sugas verse and jhopes one that they wrote it and RM even changed some lyrics of the original , refer to the pandemic. Bts always that they cover rap songs they always put their own lyrics according to the theme the cover is for. Which is what true rappers do. I recommend their cover for Kendrick pools ( it was RM, suga and jin ) they changed all the lyrics about school bullying calling the song school of tears. You should look for one with translation( the original clip doesn’t have it , it was when the haven’t debuted yet , some clips were showed in the rise of bangtan ep 1 ). Another gem is RM cover of Kanye power , when he talks about the importance to vote ( at that time RM wasn’t able to vote cuz he was younger ) , it was their first vid in the BtS KZfaq account. Again look for one with subs cuz the original clip doesn’t have it. It’s so good.

Sting and The Police version was called "Every Breath You Take" and is worth listening to. It is about obsession.

The original song was written by Sting and performed by The Police in 1983 and the original title was Every Breath You Take. The song was written from the perspective of a possessive lover who is watching "Every breath you take, every move you make".

Sting wasn't missing in the sentimental sense. He was straight up stalking. The BTS rappers did rewrite their passages to reflect to reflect their feelings as Covid quarantine was keeping them away from ARMY. This was a remotely filmed performance from Korea as BTS for all intents and purposes was still being confined to Korea during the summer of 2021. As to the stage, I am not sure, but it does look like the one which was used a year later at the end of the Butter mv.

@5:26 It's a make shift studio 😅 a garage, the band is in a Winged Van truck , the flat form is made of chicken wire with lights under , plants are mixed with fresh and artificial and lights effects on the side 😉 Big Hit/HYBE staff are big talented , have a big mind for imaginations making this kind of studio 😁

Yeah, this is more P Diddy remake- that took a "sample" largely the music actually and less the lyrics, of the Police song that Sting wrote. But that song is very different. It's typically made fun of now A LOT because of its stalker lyrics like every move you make, every breath you take, Ill be watching you. It was about a break up. Not too many lyrics at all. P Diddy wrote his song about loss as you read and it's a very different song. BTS version is covering P Diddy one. RM says "Id give anything to see half your face" instead of P Diddy "to hear half your breath" because it was Covid. Thank you!! Ignore the rude immature comments!

There are alot of singers or bands today who sing a lot better than BTS, whose pitches and high notes are high crazier than Jimin and Jin, smoother than JK's killer voice and deeper than Vs deep voice. Oh, boy! But, there is no singer or bands who can put life into a song better than BTS. Expressing the emotion and soul of the song is BTS' expertise. Even how simple the song can be, BTS always ends up putting more icing on the cake without forgetting the dough to be perfectly blended. I think this is why they easily resonate to the fans, they are just so easy and comforting to listen to. And, even non-fan of raps falls for their hard core rap songs. BTS are a bunch of pure artists, all the 7 of them. BTS is the Vincent Vango in visual arts, Christopher Marlowe in poetry, Bach in classical music, and the Beatles of today. As the famous Paul McCartney said when asked about the secret of Top Hit (Charting) Song, "It simple music and nice lyrics."

okay you litterally didn´t even mention a thing about BTS in this reaction witch is the whole reason for this reaction right?. i mean you only talked about the original song. there was zero reaction to the performance what so ever.. i am little bumbed out because this is one of my favorite performance of theirs. the only thing you said was the rap part was deferent.
