Sad to say that her mom passed away last 14th of May, one thing that i adore about Gigi, eventhough she's been through a lot of pain, she still giving the best version of herself when she performs.

Gigi's mom passed away a few days ago. She was battling cancer for 4 yrs. They did their last show in Canada last night & she said she did this tour to pay for her mom's hospitalization & meds. Love her rendition of this song, this is her more emotional side. Pls chk out ALL I ASK (Adele). She also sings Christian songs, chk out OCEANS (Hillsong).

such a sad story. well everyone has to go sooner or later. it is only a matter of when and how. it's like my dad who is getting very old and sick, may go any time soon this year. anyway RIP to Gigi's mom in heaven. also wish Gigi will get much more successful than what she is having now as a singer because she deserves a global superstar status.

@@lomahtw Yes it is sad, but death is just a physical death of the body. At least thats how i see it. The spirit never dies, & hope she will eventually be reunited with the Lord, our Creator 🙏

Thanks for your reaction to Gigi Vibes Band , also many comments about the passing of her mom make me feel bad, she's a single parent and Gigi is the only child, now alone and lets pray for her to be strong.

GiGi also got scammed and lost much of her money that was supposed to be for her mothers treatment. This forced her to sell her belongings even her iconic tops. I commend her for the strength she has as she didn't show hate to the theif, just to know it was not for her but her mother. She is as sweet as she looks. Yes, the values and culture much diminished or lost in the West is still alive in Philippines. Hope the modernisation and influx of foreign influences do not destroy it like it did in the West.

Yes I remember when her account got hacked & she lost the money she was saving for her mom's treatment. So she had to sell some of her clothing & personal belongings. The band did so many gigs in the PH last year. She said in an interview she's the only child so who else is gonna help her earn money to pay for her mom's medical expenses. To the point she developed pre-nodules & was advised by her Doctor to take a break from singing. But they only had 2 gigs left so they continued, & thats when the van accident happened. She & some of the boys got bruised up from that, but they decided to still do the gig that night, and thats when she collapsed on stage. Then they took a 2 month break. But then they had to do this US Canada tour later. I heard she is doing this tour bc she placed her mom in a private hospital so she can get better treatment, but eventually, she passed away. Gigi Vibes is one of the hardest working bands out there.

Gigi de Lana mourns the loss of her mom battling for breast cancer for 4 years last May 14, 2024 unfortunately she’s in Canada 🇨🇦 for their last concert last night May 18 but she’s preparing to go home to arrange for her mom funeral since she’s the only child. Praying for you dear Gigi de Lana that the Lord bless, guide and protect you in this difficult time of your life. Well courting a Filipina starts with frienship...eating together & you need to pay for the meals as a show of gentleman, get out of the car or vehicle & assist the lady...bring a gift & a flower, after months of getting to know each other & finally HARANA bring a Guitar with some friend & sing a Love Song serenading to the Lady...thats the old way filipino way of which still exist in some furflung areas in the Philippines....But most importantly you should act "Be True to Your Self, But be Courteous & show you are a Real Gentle man"!!! Thats it!

Oh, Gigi again? What a total shock! Yes, she cut her hair as a tribute to her mother. She is an obvious talent, with quite a big range. Filipino's, sadly to say, are FAR more dedicated to their elders than we Americans are. If you ever do marry a Filipina, don't be surprised if you married the entire family, meaning one, some, or all may live with you. Not always the case, but more often than not. None of her family members live with us (8 brothers and sisters), bc she never let them. Even tho my wife is the middle type child, she is obviously looked up to the most. You'll find out maybe...

Not connected to this video but you have expressed wanting to travel the Phils. on motorcycle. Watch Kumander Daot vlog as he had travelled from Mindanao to Luzon on his new motorcycle and showed how its done and the expenses. Not end to end travel but still from Mindanao to Luzon..
