Hua Chen Yu is massive in China. You need to remember that China has its own KZfaq called BiliBili and his following is massive. His concerts are sold out in the 100,000 seat stadiums. It’s just that he is not as known in the western markets. Chinese artists have a harder time as they tend to not have Chinese translations readily available. Watch is Growing towards the Sun. The show took 2 years to bring to fruition at the right time and place. I think the crowd was 130,000 that day. Now that you have been introduced to Hua Chen Yu or Hua Hua who is absolutely amazing, you need to expand your repertoire of Chinese singers to include Zhou (sounds like Joe) Shen or affectionately known as Charlie. Another amazing Chinese singer whose voice is outstanding. He is a vocal master. Sometimes compared to Dimash although I would not as he is his own talent. His vocal tone and vocal control is otherworldly. Check out Dalabengba where he sings in 5 different voices, Ring the Doorbell, Baby Dasvidanya where sings in Russian and Chinese, Song of Heaven Island. He just released an album, has over 100 original movie sound tracks to his credit and 100s of performances.

He is huge in China. His new Mars Sunrise Concert had 130,000 attendance. He never leaves China. If he toured outside China he would get more popular nationally like Dimash but he doesn't need to with these numbers He is unique artist with a style his own. I am a USA senior and have followed him since the singer 2018 SINGER.

Yeah he is underrated. But atleast he still has alot of loyal martians! He wants to see people connect. He wants unity. He wants coexistence.

This song is a performance of the "Singer" competition seven years ago. Today, Hua Chenyu is much more powerful than before.

This was the same singing shows Dimash was on, but not the same time. He came in 2nd came back and won it. He is very popular in China he sells out concerts in minutes he just isn’t popular in the west, which I don’t think he cares. His concerts are amazing beyond anything you’ve seen. Hua hua has a massive fan base called martians. His life story is very interesting and worth learning about. Again, his concerts are amazing he spends more money on the stage then he makes on ticket sales. I’d definitely watch his recent concert

Thank you for yet again an excellent reaction to HuaHua. this performance is from the show The Singer 2018, a friendly competition between famous singers by invitation of the production only. All of HuaHua's videos from the Singer or his other shows reached several tens of millions views, but we don't know what it is with the Chinese TV channels, they tend to delete their videos and upload them on other channels, thus losing their number of views. HuaHua has been one of the top artists in China for many years now, he's spoken highly of by all the music professions in China. Although he sings his new songs at his concerts prior to release them, he's one of the top album sellers and his last 2 albums have been certified by the INPI.. He's starting to be well known outside of China thanks to reactors 🙏 That's how I got to know him in 2018. I've flown to his amazing concerts from France 5 times already since China opened its borders last year, I met many online friends from USA, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Malaysia, Norway, Poland, etc. ❤

He is underrated in the West but he is massive in China. His concerts are amazing and massive. He is such a performer, a fashionista a great musician. They use other platorms over there where Chinese audiences get to see him, not youtube

Thank you for this Reaction to Hua Hua. For me, he is a combination of Freddie Mercury, David Bowie, George Michael, Steven Tyler, Matt Bellamy and... Elton John. 😂 He is a singer, Composer, Music Arranger who performs Rock, Rap, Reggae, Pop, SynthPop, Electronic, Broadway, Traditional Chinese. His personality is a big part of the draw. He is a one-off, quirky man, who recently seems to have found happiness. If you want to see a recent project of his, recommend his Sunrise Concert, which began at 3.00am. There is a lengthy version of his "Growing towards the sun" song, which is just.. 😍😭 It is absolutely worth seeing, to understand the man who could conceive that, and deliver it to his fans, after 2 years planning. As others say, the Concerts don't generate money. He spends so much on the planning, and staging it would be seen as a Money Pit by performers in the West. He "doesn't care". He loves being with his fans,...and comes alive when onstage.

He can write / compose / perform / arrange / rearrange / produce music, songs and performance pieces of different styles or genres like: Grigorian Chant Opera Chinese Peking Opera Pop Rock Metal different forms of ballads Rap Reggae Hip Hop His other experiences / talents / interesting facts: 1) He can play different instruments 2) He DJed before (2023 Games for peace performance) 3) (ofcourse, you guys knew this) he can sell out a concert for 10s of thousands from minutes to seconds. He sold out a concert for 90,000 2x in just a total of 5 minutes! 4) In 2018- dimash qudaibergen recomposed-rearranged 'sinful passion' to make this song his own and when he was performing the song the dears were being surprised and impressed at his vocals. hua chenyu in the the same year composed-wrote 'bullfighting' and when he was performing this song the martians were being shocked and amazed by his composition skills, his new low tone rap style and how he was able to combine different styles + genres in such a advanced way.

Thanks for good reaction, this song made me a Martian in 2018. Well he could get more viewers on KZfaq for sure, but he sure is not underrated in China, he is one of the biggest stars there, always sold out concerts and high rankings on the Chinese charts… one problem is that he does not perform outside China, but we can always hope someday it will happen🙏💖 so far a bunch of western fans has travelled to China for his Mars concerts, and shared on Fb and YT.

You have to remember when looking at number of views that this is KZfaq and that's not viewed in China. The Chinese platform has much higher numbers.

В 2017 Димаша пригласили принять участие в этом конкурсе и он бы занял первое место, если бы был уроженцем Китая. Но т.к. Димаш был гостем из Казахстана, то по правилам конкурса занял второе место. Выступление Хуа Чэнью состоялось на следующий год. В 2018 году правила конкурса изменились и можно было приглашать певцов из-за рубежа. Гостьей стала британская певица Джесси Джей. Она и заняла первое место, опередив ХуаХуа, которому досталось второе место. Я полагаю, таким образом китайский конкурс не хотел обидеть гостью и показаться предвзятым, как это вышло с Димашем и поэтому ей присудили первое место, потому что Хуа был просто потрясающим на этом конкурсе.
