The amazing courage and bravery of Japanese soldiers is truly something. To think most were just boys. You have my respect. From Australia.

They didn't want to fight America or you. Japan was fighting China and Soviet Russia. It is clear that these two countries are now a threat to the human world. However, Franklin Roosevelt sided with China and the Soviet Union and restricted oil exports to Japan, so Japan had no choice but to fight America. It was a tragedy. We fought each other. There were a lot of communist spies in the White House. They kept trying to make Japan and America fight each other.

No matter what the world says I have my high respect for the Japanese army. They fought till their last breath. Some say kamikaze was a man slaughterer but for me once you join the army you should defend your country till the end

I can say, Japan had to win the war. Even though the Japanese army was backward in armaments, it demonstrated its patriotism to the whole world, it fought to the last with its Katanas. from 🇮🇹❤️
This collection of Japanese war movie clips is fascinating,,,,,,,,,,,and very instructive! Can you imagine anyone in Germany assembling war movie clips showing "brave" Nazi soldiers fighting in World War II,,,,,,and posting on KZfaq? For that matter,,,,,,,,can anyone imagine that film-makers in Germany would even make such films? German WW II movies (and there aren't many of them) never portray German soldiers as brave heroes. At best, they are portrayed as victims themselves of an evil Nazi ruling system. But in Japan, I guess, it's different. And that tells us a whole lot about Japan.

Japan had a cause to liberate Asia. This is what makes us different from other countries, both in good and bad ways.😢

@@karieigayokoku You write: "Japan had a cause to liberate Asia." Yes, And Germany had a "cause" in invading Poland, and Russia, and its other neighbors in Europe. And the Southern Confederacy in America had a "cause" in making war against the United States. EVERY country, or group of people, that starts a war of aggression has a "cause". Terrorists always have a "cause". But the fact that Japan had a "cause" in invading its neighbors does NOT make it a GOOD cause. Ask the Chinese people what they think about Japan's "cause" in attacking China. Ask especially the Chinese of Nanjing! That is the problem I have with Japanese war films such as these. And the general problem I have with the sanitized version of World War Two that Japanese society and educational system promote about Japan's war history. The Germans, to their great national credit, do not promote such mythology about German conduct in the War. German students are taught that what their nation did was evil. And that -- even though their parents/grandparents may have fought courageously -- they were NOT glorious heroes, because they fought for an evil cause and an evil system. In japan, I am told, students are taught that Japan and the USA had a "misunderstanding", Japan resisted the USA bravely, and then the USA dropped atomic bombs on Japan. The End. Perhaps this was an exaggeration, but I'm not so sure it is, especially when I see Japanese war films like this.

@@GeorgetownDude There is no doubt that the war that Japan waged against China was a war of aggression. However, the war waged against the West was not only in the name of securing resources, but also for the purpose of liberating Asia from the West. If you think this cause is bad, I think you have a strong sense of discrimination. In fact, even after the war ended, many Japanese soldiers remained in Indonesia and participated in the Indonesian War of Independence. Local soldiers formed during the Japanese military government also played an active role in battles, as did many soldiers from other Asian countries. I believe that the foolish upper echelons of the Japanese military are responsible for this war, but the local soldiers who risked their lives to fight under orders are not responsible. Rather, I think of him as a hero who protected his country. Those who lost their lives under orders that did not allow them to return home alive, against Western countries with no chance of victory, were innocent. From an American perspective, it is certainly understandable to wonder whether the Japanese military would be viewed as heroes simply by fighting back after being attacked by Japan. However, for these reasons, Japanese people cherish those who died in war. Sorry for the long post.

I can't deny it's not Japanese soilder's fault. But they should not feel proud of it.
