You can melt strike bosses with the starting Rocket launcher if you have heavyweight and buffs on

I think that we should start differentiating Burst DPS from Sustained now. Whisper does the most DPS but then there's Thunderlord, Cluster Rockets on Riven, 1k Voices, and now Two Tailed Fox which can kill things way faster because of their higher burst DPS

RPM is too slow for the Riven melt, but would like to see differences b/w MP & Tractor debuffs.

It'd be a small difference but MP would be better since Tractor would only give the 50% damage buff to the void rocket and 30% to the solar one

@@sevii_1403 They just reduced the time he spends off map and change how many times he does it. Was hoping for an actual rework, but it makes the boss not suck so bad, to bad the rest of the strike still sucks.

I've already tested that with mine when I was rocket cheesing with my clan to compare DPS to the Bad Omens or sleepless w/ cluster bombs, Two Tailed Fox falls short by 20% (1.9m damage vs. 2.3m damage) due to the abysmal RoF. If they buffed the RoF and made the secondary effects of the rockets actually useful, it would be a top-tier weapon. Right now, it currently falls into the low-tier usable category. Fun to use in the neutral game but it's a handicap for any boss that has a very large health pool like raid bosses.

Im telling ya its still too weak, it needs a catalyst that gives it cluster bombs. With the void rocket giving tractor canon debuff and solar rocket dropping napalm(d1 dragons breath).

Here’s a secret for hunters: run way of a thousand cuts with sealed ahamkara grasps, throw the melee knives at boss, each one counts as a reload, fire as fast as you can as soon as you throw the blades, dodge to get knives back, rinse and repeat.

There is a little Fox symbol at the bottom rigth corner when ADS you need to let the fox the be completely lit then your rockets will track.

It should be obvious that no rocket launcher in the game, period, outdamages Two tailed. Though I know the comment is 8 months ago, no launcher in the game is capable of doing this thing's burst damage.
