Watching this old master of his craft making things is truly poetry in motion. I have been working in the art and trade crafts (paper, fabric, wood, metal - not at this level of expertise of course) my whole life. Started on furniture and model airplanes, then cars, then full scale light aircraft (both certified and experimental planes). My dad was a race engine builder with his own machine shop business. I learned the art and science of precision from him. Watching master Amu make things with such a high level of craftsmanship reminds me of my dad building his engines doing intricate high precision modifications to metal engine parts.
