Don't Let the negative comments bother you. As a Chinese, we know exactly how this situation comes and how everything works, we are used to it and we don't bother to explain. A clean hand wants no washing. You can't wake up a fool. In addition, the United States spends $3 trillion a year on propaganda to control public opinion and ideology. The money goes here and there, including some of the trolls who leave negative comments here.

Luke is Irish. I think he totally understands whats going on. The centuries of violence his people faced from the British and British/Western propaganda is enough for him to question Western media (which in fact he has stated from his previous video). And Naomi is German, I don't think we all need to speak about that. She is definitely aware of how propaganda worked in her country in the past. And I'm not saying China is perfect whatsoever, but Western media constantly conflating the Chinese government with Chinese people is incredibly dangerous, especially for other non-Chinese Asians.

Most of them are Chinese in Taiwan island, they can't accept the real world. They need to get comfort from vilifying others. Of course they can get bonuses from the Taiwan administration team that wants to split China. This is real.

We went to China with my ninety six year old aunt. it was a terrific experience to cherish. We are returning again and with my now ninety eight year old aunt. Last time we visited Beijing, Xian, Chongqing, Guangzhou and Shanghai, this tile it will be big more relaxed starting with Chengdu, Dali specially for the rural areas and Shenzhen. The response you folks got parallels our experience when we praised our trip to so called friends and family. We were probably paid shills. Indoctrination and manufactured hatred along with selective learning is a malady and has no cure. Even when we would tell them to go visit, they are not convinced. we live in NY and this is the state of brain washing and propaganda there sadly. Keep up the good work and you both know what you have seen, that is the truth.

For one more night at that posh luxury rooftop hotel 🤣 Oh well, you can never wake up someone who pretends to be asleep, so just go ahead and enjoy yourself, embrace the world and the new adventures. I adore you two a lot, kind, appreciative, and open-minded. Highly recommend Kunming in Yunnan, and the Lijiang Ancient Town. I think you'll like it! And btw some of the "weird" food are also becoming available in Europe (at least in Berlin). Asian supermarkets and Szechuang cuisine are gaining momentum at the moment.

I am a Chinese who has lived in Germany for more than ten years. I really like this couple's travel videos recently. In fact, I found a very good evidence that they are not used or hired by the Chinese government. There are several videos about Chinese food in their videos. But these restaurants look ordinary, small restaurants on the street, and they cannot represent high level Chinese cuisine. But they enjoy these ordinary foods. If they were really hired by the Chinese government, the Chinese food they filmed should be in luxurious and high-end Restaurants.

I think it is the common understanding among people living in this modern world, that if you have any political claim or demand, express it to your politicians, and unfortunately I am not a civil servant of your country nor my country and you definitely know that well. So, what you've been doing on YT is to purely insult normal people by raising up sensitive political topics repeatedly, hoping we Chinese get raged. But I still support your freedom of speech, even though I disagree with you. What I would suggest is that, go to your Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy of China in your country, or any mental health clinic and carry out a protest or something, better together with a couple of people sharing the same view as you. Interestingly, if the CCP were indeed willing to cover travel expenses, I think the number of people traveling to China would far exceed this figure. Here in New Zealand, since China recently started its unilateral visa-free policy for 15 days, many local friends have asked me if the Chinese government can provide support, even corporate support would be acceptable. I said that, in fact, this is a rumor circulating on Western social media, and the CCP will not provide any funding, nor is it easy to find companies willing to sponsor. Some still didn't believe it and went to ask on Chinese social media, only to be seen by Chinese netizens as online begging.😂

1) US led western propaganda against China has been there for a very long time since the end of ww2. Previously it has the history of such with the "Yellow peril" narrative during the 18th and 19th century which resulted in endless murders & leeching of Chinese in the US at the time. It also led to the Chinese Exclusion Act which only ended when they needed help to fight the Imperial Japan during WW2. 2) US has introduced various bills since 2020 to increase their already huge budget spend specifically on anti-China propaganda. One of such bill, H.R.7937 [116th] was to spend US$300 millions per year focusing on "training" journalists from traditional media as well as alternative ones and in social media. 3) You will be surprised to see such trolls are flooded in all kind of social media to smear China. 4) Recently Reuter reported US C I A / N E D used multiple anti-China campaigns to smear against China specifically about Chinese vaccines, face masks etc in order to stop people of the Philippines, the Middle East, and Latin America from getting such medical treatments/cares during the height of C O V I D when all these countries desperately needed it to save life. This resulted in ten of thousands of death in the Philippines alone. 5) With the decades of such anti-China propaganda campaigns, narratives, talking points, it is almost impossible to find anyone who has no negative bias against China as they have been brainwashed since birth and can only learn about China from western based sources that designed to disinform them. 6) I myself was born in a country that teach us to hate everything Chinese. I woke up to that a long time ago and can see it very clearly how much such propaganda has escalated over the last decade (at least since the "Pivot to China" foreign policy announced by the Obama regime). 7) It's up to the general public to deprogram themself from all these US led propaganda & see the real world. 👏I don't think those trolls deserve your seriousness. However you try to prove yourselves innocent, they won't believe it - "payments made in your names can be reimbursed", they would say. Having seen much ridicule in the West, I'm still astonished by some idiotism highlighted in this video. I agree with Luke that you never realise how little you know about the world until you actually go out to see the world for yourself. Unfortunately, as Naomi hinted, too many condescending people are trying to smother different values, cultures and opinions in the name of democracy.
