I don't know much about percussion bc I'm a trombone player, but I think TxSU straight up shitted on Alcorn. That bit from 3:00-3:19 was awesome.

I plain don't understand the decision to put bells in a drumline. It just ruins the crisp, precise sound of drumline like an ice cream truck being included in a convoy of armored military vehicles.

This has to be the absolute worse I have ever seen alcorns drumsections and it is a discrace to the school and to the SWAC for them to be this bad...They went from being respected to being some gang bang rape victims...Just TERRIBLE....

i really don't like how alcorn tunes their drums. The sound the drumline produces when they play a cadence is too dull.

Not really gonna hate on either line because they were both obviously dirty and didn't have any difficult rudimentary things but ewwwww!!! Why make your snares sound so concert like??? I know people have different preferences but I think marching snares and concert snares are supposed to be different in sound. The amount of snare on those drums is just icky and makes things sound so much more dirty. On a semi positive note, the cadences were pretty cool sounding (But just too easy to play!)

Pretty sure I could find 2 middle school drumlines that play better than both of these lines hahahaha dirt dirt dirt dirt dirt All of these fools should just quit playing drums and pick up some woodwind instruments. At least that way they wouldn't be heard on the field.
