Opening Sequence blew my mind when I heard it. It’s so fucking good! Thursday’s Child Has Far To Go is definitely my second favorite and I’m actually really surprised that it’s not your favorite. As soon as I heard it I was like “yeah Anitra’s gonna lose her shit over this song”.

I was hyped for this song because of Taehyun's vocals and he delivered. Songs like this tug on my heartstrings and it feels like someone is tearing my heart apart. I love it. Definitely my fave of them now. This song makes me feel like I had a breakup even though I've never been in a relationship. Why I feel like this song has a little old kpop vibe. I love this song so much. 2. I already said my thoughts on this during your music video reaction, but I’ll just restate it here: Both Beomgyu and Taehyun have my bias list TWISTED. I'll respect Kai as a baby dancer till he is old enough, then I will talk about him more. Yeonjun is my bias; Soobin is my wrecker. If "the villain's origin story" was a song it would be this one I guess and I'm not mad at the idea at all! This was better than great! And even though I came in expecting to like it, it ended up being even better than I had anticipated. The balance in this song is perfection, the angsty, breathy whispers, the more powerful and pained rock chorus, the pointed, tortured raps and the softer angelic vocals!!! The laughing bit is a bonus! Their acting game is amazing too! They look tortured and hurt for sure but they're this underlying sense of if you're pushing them too much they'll snap and become insane?! I love the evolution of the lyrics! Them feeling hurt and not knowing how to move on, to accepting the pain and then owning it at the end with that lyric "I like being bad". This is so good and genius! This really feels to me like they truly found themselves musically and conceptually and they're owning this entirely! This is IT for me. 3. Considering the fact that I often don’t watch or listen to teasers, everything comes as a surprise for me. This song in particular. I did not expect Soobin’s voice to strike me as hard as he does here. The background music is so calming and peaceful. plus this track showcases all their vocals perfectly. Second favorite track. You can feel the emotion in their voices. 4. Songs four and five are the first subunit songs the boys give us. Lonely Boy is featuring Yeonjun and Huening Kai. Yeonjun's voice is my favorite voice in the group but Huenning Kai, you have grown so much your vocals are so clear and so strong now..I hope you have built your confidence now you are a fantastic vocalist my love. Big Hit is really smart when I put together the voice of this team (Yeonkai) they always had proportionate and really powerful voices. Man this song... Goosebumps. I can feel the emotions, their voices! The rap wasn't unnecessary it just makes the song even better. One of the best songs this year. 5. The last song of the album is Thursday's Child Has Far To Go. It features vocals from Taehyun, Soobin, and Beomgyu. Let's all thank Beomgyu for this masterpiece. Omg I loved your intepretation of trust fund baby, I honestly coudn't relate bargaining with it before, but what you said has so much sense. I couldn´t see it because, as you explaied, they are singing that there is no bargaining for them. That is so sad. It is definetly my favourite song on the album, their vocals are beautifull, I love the production and I am so proud of them for this song and for the entire album. Good boy gone bad and Opening Sequence share the first spot for me (it's even better live! There is a taejun harmony you can barely hear on the studio version that SLAPS live) but others grew SO much on repeat listens it's crazy. Thursday's child is my least favorite bc I'm not that much into retro sound (still solid 9 out of 10 tho) but other two are god tier and I can't even choose the order.

My favorite on the album is the same as you. They opened this album perfectly! I just wanted to add a misheard lyric for the last song, Thursdays child, in the chorus all k could hear is “penis smile”… it was ruined for me so I thought I would pay it forward 😂. You’re welcome
