Welcome to the 2nd of our Llyn Peninsula, North Wales vlogs, where we go in search of what the Daily Mail claim is the 3rd best beach bar in the world.
The Llyn Peninsula is often referred to as the, 'arm' of North Wales and in this North Wales vlog, we visit the Ty Coch Inn near Morfa Nefyn. We also head over to Abersoch and Pwllheli to check out the towns and beautiful beaches that North Wales has to offer.
In 2013, The Daily Mail printed an article about the best beach bars in the world, and who'd have thought that the Ty Coch Inn in Porthdinllaen would have made the top three?
Not only is Ty Coch Inn considered to be the third best beach bar in the world, it's also considered by many to be one of the best pubs in Wales.
We'd never been to the Ty Coch Inn before, so we went in search of it to see if it was worth all of the hype. Despite the fact it was a relatively overcast day in the middle of February, the Ty Coch Inn was still stunning.
In the video, we give our review and reveal if we think it's the 3rd best beach bar or not, and if it's our favourite beach bar.
Once we'd eaten and taken in the views of the pub's surrounding area and beach, we made our way further across the Llyn Peninsula to Abersoch to check out this beautiful town and beach.
We weren't disappointed. We hadn't visited Abersoch for many years and were very happy to see so many facilities open, even in February.
Following Abersoch, we head over to have a quick look at Pwllheli, a place we hadn't visited in many years.
Pwllheli is quite famous for being the location of the North Wales Butlins, a place Wills visited many times as a child. The park is now the Hafn Y Mor park, owned by Haven. We will have to come back and review it some day.
To be honest, we didn't have much time to spend in Pwllheli, so didn't really get to look around the town, but we did take a walk on the beautiful but vast beach.

Postcard & A Pint was thought up by my partner, Rachel & myself, Wills one day while taking our daily 1 hour exercise during the lockdown of 2020.
