Barry... that rotary vise technique with the scrunched deer hair is awesome...you must think this stuff at night! Why in the world would anyone give a thumbs down on such..... I love all the different caddis patterns! You could use this body on the big black stone flys too... Thanks...t

Awesome tying! I did some of these and tested these in an alpine stream on Brook trouts... 40+ fish caught with in a day. Now I have got a bunch of these in my fly box!

How about putting the deer hair in a food processor for a few spins?

Hi William, you can but it will be chopped up into small pieces. I find it best to just roll it between your fingers and pull it apart until its how you need it.
