What i Can say is,if tyla keep giving off puppet vibes to the audience, trust me she's gonna hurt her branding.

Eh I disagree with it “hurting her brand”. If the animal prints are authentic to Tyla’s personal tastes then I personally see no issue. Stereotypes will always exists, that’s unavoidable but Tyla’s overall image and how she Carries herself is very feminine, soft, ladylike with a splash of sensual and tasteful/sex appeal which is the complete opposite of an “animalistic” or “uncivilized” stereotype in my opinion. But anyways great video and keep up the uploads 👍🏽

So when she wears other thing apart from does short clothes, she authentic but if another artist who has been there all theses years wearing skimpy clothes wears it.....all you tyla's fans will say that the person is copying.

Exactly im glad someone said it I watched her mv and was thinking the same Why is she promoting africa like this when she can give us better example poverty and jungles aesthetic is so tiring africa is so much more than just that And african artists should not help promote that aesthetic in international entertainment

Because her label wants her to be a caricature just like they did with camilla cabello.

@@KrissyKayyy I get why they would want that but could be done in different way tyla knows better

@@vices1710 she wants fame so she will do whatever is asked of her. Sony is notoriously racist so they will have her be a stereotype

Conservatively ill say the stereotype thats being harnessed here is the clout base for the consumers and its in tylers opinion to fancy the fashion and rock her looks regardless.

Excuse me? Which style? So if tyla wears other things other than the skimpy clothes, it's her style but if another artist who have been in the industry before her wears skimpy clothes, all you tyla fans will come out of nowhere to say that the artist is copying her? Watch your logic. That's not her branding. Everyone knows what her branding is. When it comes to anything about tyla...boom...al of you will start the victim card lol
