Goku VS Superman is one of the most heated debated within the VS Battle Community. Since even before Death Battles controversial take on the matchup, people have been debating this topic back and forth and as time has progressed, the answer in my opinion became more and more clear. This video will not only be explaining why Goku VS Superman Isnt Close but why the matchup was never close to begin with. Mind you this video will be containing content from Dragon Ball , Dragon Ball Z , Dragon Ball Super , DC Comics, DC Movies , Shows , and etc. Ranging from analyzing their feats against the Z Fighters with people like Vegeta Gohan Piccolo and the Justice League through Batman Flash and Wonderwoman. Son Goku, born Kakarot, is a Saiyan raised on Earth and the main protagonist of the Dragon Ball series. He is the second born, as well as youngest son and child of Bardock and Gine, the husband of Chi-Chi, and the father of Gohan and Goten. Originally sent to Earth by his parents as an infant, Kakarot was adopted by Grandpa Gohan and renamed Son Goku. A head injury at an early age altered Goku's memory, ridding him of his initial destructive nature and allowing him to grow up to become one of Earth's greatest defenders. Goku constantly strives and trains to be the greatest warrior possible, which has kept the Earth and the universe safe from destruction multiple times. Dragon Ball is a Japanese media franchise created by Akira Toriyama in 1984. The initial manga, written and illustrated by Toriyama, was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1984 to 1995, with the 519 individual chapters collected in 42 tankōbon volumes by its publisher Shueisha. Dragon Ball was originally inspired by the classical 16th-century Chinese novel Journey to the West, combined with elements of Hong Kong martial arts films. Dragon Ball characters also use a variety of East Asian martial arts styles, including karate and Wing Chun. The series follows the adventures of protagonist Son Goku from his childhood through adulthood as he trains in martial arts. Also last time I'm going to mention this but xeno Goku powering up destroying the timelines wasn't actually correct you see they were on a station that was in control of the timelines and if he destroyed that then the timelines would be destroyed so no. Also we have to understand that death battle is progressively upgrading their ways of calculating things so sometimes death pedals in the past aren't going to be up to snuff with how they are now it's called being human

1:00 I would like to address that specific complaint. For scaling, there are blackboxes on the side where they scale Goku to 5D an Superman to higher dimensional levels of power (higher than Goku). A lot of their juicy scaling and fight breakdowns can be found in second hand material such as their blogs, as opposed to the episode itself.

yeah, Ultraguy (researcher for Death Battle) did SEVERAL blogs on Goku vs Superman He even researched Legends and Dokkan Battle for Goku, no one does that His blog is very complete, it includes pretty much all DBZ media where Goku is in, and pretty much every single official comic that has Superman in it, the blogs even include separate sections for the calcs of each character, Ultraguy put his heart and soul into that blog

But Xeno Goku or CC Goku at best scale to Hyperversal to Low Outerversal at the very best while just using base Pre Crisis Superman alone gives him Outerversal to High Outerversal feats and scaling. I may be a fan but I'm also a much bigger fan of D.C. and not dense or ignorant. Rebirth Superman hard violates the Composite DB verses no effort, only fanfiction even comes close to ranking in the top 1,000 characters of D.C. Composite Superman is High Transfinite Outerversal. Milk-Man Man is Trans High Infinite Outerversal. Story Of Superman is Extraversal.

My question is... if these scalings are for Goku in base form then what happened to the multipliers when he transforms... if hes base level multiversal then that means Ssj 1 is that time 50, ssj2 x100, ssj3 x 400, and ssj4 x? They added Heroes simply to high end Goku to the absolute max to show he is nowhere near Superman. I believe they did bring up sufficient feats from Heroes which still gets one up by DC cosmology. They had to go get literal fanfiction for Goku to stand a chance where he still lost. They cater to DB fans even in the post analyssi because they knew they would be salty at the outcome. Only twitter stans thought this was a debate.

Outerverse level? The Heavely Realm is a transcedental realm, and the part where you quoted "Beyond Dimensions" is literally just you misunderstood it. It only says "It cannot be precived by the physical realm's dimesion" meaning it cannot be affected by that dimension because they are separate.

I agree with the victor some how. I want to make something clear in terms of skill goku is above super man period.goku did not struggle with predicting hits time skip,if any thing what Goku did was more impressive than that of tim drake did,goku was not even sure how hit attacks work at the time. So thats all folks. No offense bro, don't compare fighting skill of super man to that of gokus, the skill gap increases when you factor ultra instinct which is arguably the pinnacle of martial arts.because you can react and adapt to your opponents fighting styles and combos

This is genuinely unfair, I can see the amount of coping from 7 year old dbs powercsalers that already proves our point of how bad holy scaling actually is. Being scaled by literally 7 year olds who can’t tell what dc actually is and probably can’t comprehend it. Superman casually destroyed dimensions that expands infinitely with a single punch.

People will never understand how to properly power scale. Cosmology scaling is needed for characters that reach Universal or higher in power. Because character’s from a stronger cosmology that are Universal scales much higher than a character from a weaker cosmology that is Multiversal.

The impression that I have of DBZ fans is that, if they weren't comic book/cartoon geeks, they would be contact sports fans. They just want their hero to be the strongest, the fastest, the baddest, etc. DBZ fans don't actually care about the stats and facts of Superman Vs Goku. They just *want* Goku to win. This is why they keep pestering Death Battle/ScrewAttack for more and more rematches. ScrewAttack thinks that, if they just explain it well enough this time, that the DBZ fans will understand and accept the result. SA/Death Battle doesn't get it that the DBZ fans understand the stats, but they simply don't care. What they want is for Goku to beat Superman. They only care about the *result* .And until Goku gets that "W", they will keep bringing up BS to justify why yet another rematch is needed. I was there in 2012 when they made the first one, and now 12 years latter it has gone nowhere. I no longer bother arguing with DBZ fans because to them the only thing that matters is Goku winning. They are, frankly, the most stupid and odious group of people I ever engaged with.

This is true, but it is also true of a lot of comic fans. I think it has to do with being raised without a father. In school, you'd have your "my dad can beat your dad" arguments and then grow out of it. But because most DB fans (and a lot of comic fans) don't know their fathers, they never got it out of their systems, and so spend all day sending death threats to each other and saying "Dragon Ball is better fiction than Shakespeare because Hamlet can't blow up a planet." To be fair to comic fans, at least they usually stay in their lane. You have to go out of our way to find annoying comic fans, but if you like any other anime, the DB fans will find you.

For me it's more that superman is boring, most of the time he doesn't struggle unless they come up with some cracked insane storyline like the worldforger stuff. Gokus at least a bit more relatable and more fun to watch. "Perfect" characters like superman are very annoying and boring. I don't think it's really a desire for goku to win, the most acclaimed Dragon Ball stories are where Goku loses. It's the opposite. We want to see superman bite the curb SO BAD and Goku seems like he's the closest to the man of steel.

Scale the characters however you want them, i legit believe your scaling is 1,000 x better than deathbattle's. And i actually like it. Dont necessarily agree with it, but its generally fair. _____ Misinformation: True form darkseid final crisis vs superman: Did superman beat true form darkseid? Yes, but did he have a lot of help? Yes. During that fight darkseid was beaten by Orion and nearly died. Batman then preceeds to kill darkseid again. Then the flash and death racer beat darkseid again. And after all of that superman still had to create 2 miracle machines, which is basically DC's infinity gauntlet to beat true form darkseid. So superman does not scale to true form darkseid, not in that fight. World forger: Again you leave out context. Its been stated multiple times that world forger is weaker when he is on the 3D planes. World forger already beat superman while weakened. So he already cant scale to him. The only way superman was able to get a hit off of a weakened world forger was when he wasnt fighting and caught off guard. Superman also had to have batman's help to fly through a galaxy's worth of suns just to get off a cheap shot. And you may be asking he was still able to damage a 6D being and destroy a multiverse wasnt he? Well no actually. The world forger describes his power as being able to create a universe with each strike of his hammer while in his weakened state. And as for his mutliverse he created? It was incomplete and collasped before it was finished. And we dont know how complete it was, but the author sure does. And the author said only a planet has been completed at the time. 🤷‍♂️ take that as you will. _____ As for skill this is an ambiguous stat. But i dont really care where you have superman in comparison to goku. You want to claim tim drake robin is more skilled than goku, than go for it.😂 But to scale superman in skill to wonderwoman is simply wrong. Its as wrong as scaling superman in speed to flash, or in intelligence to batman. Wonderwoman in virtually every instance and mutliverse has always been protrayed as more skillful than superman. Its not up for debate. She and batman and virtually every justice league member has stated that wonderwoman has more skill than superman. So does batman for that matter. In a fair fight of equal stats batman beats superman hands down and so does Wonderwoman on skill alone. And thats backed by decades of comics.

Intelligence can be defined in many different ways. But in terms of pattern recognition and solving crimes as well as making and creating technology batman and lex have always been smarter. Superman may be able to store more information and remember more information clearly, like a computer, but batman and lex are more creative and intuitive, if that makes sense. He's called the greatest detective for a reason.

No, Superman has his own technology on the Fortress of Solitude and almost never use any shit created by Batman on his adventures. Batman only does does the "nerd" role on JLA because it's literally the only thing he can do, but this doesn't necessarily make other geniuses from the team dumber. And Superman is not only a genius on elseworlds. Inventions like the Superman Robots, Anti-Kryptonite Suit, The Fortress Key and The Fortress of Solitude itself were created by him and are obviously canon in most Superman media.

It has never been stated to be beyond dimensions, and the guide that states dimensional transcendental is talking other world to the universe meaning it transcends those dimensions in the universe which is 3D. Also a super dimension is the same thing as extra dimensional meaning 4D or more. Also there are plenty of guides that say otherworld is the next dimensional layer. Power levels are bullshit for a long time in DB, fuck... Goku isn't even the strongest non fused character. Maybe if we were talking about Vegito, but they fucked it up with 1 hour limit, while prior to DBS, it was supposed to last forever, only to be separated by magic(with the shiled down). i feel like end if gt goku would be a much better fight. hes the strongest and has the best hacks in terms of all gokus. he has all god form hacks and ultimate form on drugs in one form, Change state making his base literally omnipotent and unreachable by any attack, the fact he does all this in maybe two or so years BEFORE a hundred year timeskip of training in dragon realm which is literally the equivalent of training with the creator/destroyer classes of the multiverse and its infinite timelines. meaning, theyre canonically the highest tier realm and entities in terms of statements compared to everything else. he also has confirmed irrelevant speed by both him and kabito kai moving within kai kai like its nothing while weakened in base. this, as well as the fact cooler exists and was beaten by goku and kai kai being faster than instant transmission, goku fs is inaccessible or irrelevant. he one shots infinite dimensions comparable to hell in base, again ssj4 is the most wanked form in existence literally inspiring super forms, and change state. you can argue that xeno goku still outscales because heroes went through “gt” and the movies, but one thats kinda just ignorant considering its two completely separate teams with two completely mindsets and respect for source material. GT scaling conflicts with xeno scaling in terms of on screen feats, statements, and databook scans, because if he really went through gt the exact same as the original then all heroes characters get MASSIVELY wanked. like, xeno goku could technically be pre end of gt somehow. we already know that xeno goku cant be 100 years later goku because how the fuck would cc goku ever compare to that. bro went through gt, the movies, and beerus ALL BEFORE that time skip. 50 years max is probably the most likely, but besides that i dont think hed scale to gt goku unless you argue that the dragons realm is actually just the heroes verse, but theres still plot/scaling holes in that

For the World Forger/multi sundip feat, it occurred in Justice League #25 (2018) and is part of an ongoing story, going up to Justice League #39 (2018) and then Death Metal finishes the story, meaning they are mostly from the same writers and all following feats should be used to reassess the World Forger punch, as follows. It was mentioned in Justice League #35 (2018) that Perpetua (who is above World Forger) used most of her restored power to destroy one universe at a time and will need time to recharge before she can do it again, which was too much for the Justice League. Perpetua: 'All but a fraction of my power has returned to me. There is much work to do.' And then on the same page: Perpetua: 'It will take me some time to gather enough energy to destroy another universe. But there is work to do in the meantime.' @@faith4657 Hi. I would believe Rebirth/Infinite Frontier Superman to be Planet to Solar System level, if I am being generous, based on my first post. Interestingly, Brian Bendis, who did his run of Rebirth Superman was asked if Superman can destroy a planet, his answer was 'Nope!' A lot of Superman's feats are never direct but through assumptions and inference, such as the above with World Forger who can create the multiverse and reside in the 6th Dimension, so people believe that when Superman struck him, this would also make Superman 6th Dimensional, even though World Forger doesn't really have any durability feats. The only direct showing Superman made during this story was when he had to gather some of the strongest members of DC villains to help him destroy Earth, which seems about right. Lots of Superman's other feats are also taken out of context.

6:55 Except Darkseid is falling from the God sphere where beings size and power get much bigger. This is explained if you read New Gods vol 4 issue 10 when Superman in the God sphere sees what planets look like when in that dimension in respect to their body. If any of you actually took the time to actually read the comics beyond the scans you would understand even the world forger has this same issue. In the 6th dimension which is above space time and imagination his definetly outerversal BUT as he goes into the regular dimensions he loses that power. He says as much in Justice League vol 4 issue 30 and 31 stating his power is diminished in the lower dimensions. Remember when Superman punched the world forger, his speed was above physics(which is space and time) and imagination, all of which in the 6th dimension is above. The comic is explaining the dimension superman is in because he was elevated to that power by Mr Myx to be in the 6th dimension. In the lower dimensions superman doesn't have that kind of power. Damn too many of you are too lazy to read the actual comics. Superman has never been universal. Heck Scott Snyder the head writer of DC comics last 3 crisis events had an interview imaginary axis on KZfaq at 36:36 of that video says that perpetua was only universal in the lower dimensions. This debate only continues because youtubers just want the revenue from the comments it generates while they know absolutely they are wrong. Heck those of you that actually want to see this in action read crisis on infinite earths issue 12 and what Death Battle says what happens. Anti-Monitor had the power from the anti matter universe drained from before he fought superman. Read the comics DC fans are on a cocain high on misreading feats and your all helping them by not actually reading the comics.

This is complete headcanon that superman got more powerful just because he was in the sixth dimension. Superman was actually the only JL memeber that was powerful enough to exist there in the first place. Because if you’re not powerful enough to exist there you die. It doesn’t amp you. How was Perpetua only u oversaw when she was literally destroying the entire dc multiverse cosmology with her fight with TDK. You’re not reading the comics I fear. Not even worth addressing because this is not that impressive of feat for superman anyways.

In the God Sphere characters size become so big that to the lower dimensions literally just collapse if the actual sized Darkseid tried to enter it. Heck Google "what do boomtubes do to size" Perpetua is only outerversal in the higher 6th dimension. In the lower dimension she is only Universal. The 6th dimension is above space, time and imagination. You said it too that characters die if they go there. The portal that superman used also protected superman as the next portal that protected the other Justice League members(in Justice League vol 4 issue 19). Remember that Myx is the one to give him the power to do so. World forger allowed the rest to do so. Also perpetua is only Universal as the writer said. People forget what started the whole Perpetua saga. Which was the breaking of the Source wall. When the Source wall broke something started to happen to realm of imagination as Myx explained to Justice League in Justice League vol 4 issue 19. That imagination was dying because the Source wall cracked. In Justice League volume 4 annual when Perpetua escaped the Source wall was destroyed and that means that imagination was already dead. The bleed is explained to be a liquid that moves from the 5th dimension into the spaces between the universes was falling apart. That's why the bleed is falling apart and the number of universes have dwindled. The system is falling apart(collapsing) because of the damage that they had caused before hand. Also Metron says it himself that the God sphere is tied to the faith of the lower dimensions. Like how Darkseid is the embodiment of all evil. Also like the writer stated perpetua only had enough power to blow up 1 universe at a time in the interview. BOOMTUBES do that but what you refuse to understand is that Superman has went to Apokolips without the aid of a boomtube and beaten Darksied’s ass. So either superman is that strong and can adjust his size himself or they’ve abandoned that concept. Pick your poison. Perpetua in her fight with TDK was in the orrery and it was affecting the entire cosmology which includes the sixth dimension. So no that’s an outerversal feat and she wasn’t in the sixth dimension when she performed it. The portal never protected superman, he was just strong enough to go there. Simple. Also you telling me mxy was giving him energy over years for him to be able to do that is irrelevant because Superman’s body was made to absorb energy and store it… so that mxy energy is sort of base superman lol. Perpetua and TDK fight was just them pushing the final dominoes of the system of the multiverse that started when the source wall was destroyed. The "every facet of reality" comment was referring to all the beings from the higher realms watching the fight. It's clear Perpetua only had enough power to destroy 1 universe at a time. That's clear when you actually read the story. For example why did Perpetua need crisis energy, because she could only destroy 1 universe at a time. Why was the entire superhero base trying to free the humans that were psychicly being tortured to get Perpetua energy. Why did Perpetua need her thrown? It's simple 3 seperate story arcs where devoted to removing these powers from Perpetua so she can be weakened. It's why the writer told us what happened and what her actual power was. You're just deciding to intentionally misread a clearly explained scenario of the story, that i reiterate, was explained by the person who wrote it. You can be starborn about it all you want still don't change the clear majority of the story. Also checked up the Clock king statement. It's from Teen titans vol 3 issue 59 and 60. Red Robin only stayed away from Clock King. He didn't have the skill to match his future sight and kept a distance from him aka out of range. He couldn't even land a blow. Clock king literally beat him without Robin being unable to even touch him. Again another scenario of DC fans ignoring actual facts of comics to try to match Goku.

I grew up with Superman and watched the Christopher Reaves version as a kid. The animated versions of Superman do not do Superman justice. So when DBZ first showed the speed feats for animation made Goku appear faster and stronger. Thanks for explaining DC cosmology so I get why Superman beats Goku. 90% of the time. For Superman to approach the Source Wal means he blitzes immeasurable speed while Goku has just reached immeasurable speeds. By he way, Tim drake was predicting when his opponent would appear(an intelligence feat) Goku at first did this with Hit, but later was going fast enough to out speed hit despite the time skip ability or destroyed the Hit's Time skip dimension with his strength without moving depending on if you're watching/reading the Anime/Manga.
