Tyler Herro sits down with Tobin and Leroy to discuss wanting a starting role with the Miami Heat but not making a stink, why he believes he struggled in the playoffs last season, putting that behind him, his friendship with Victor Oladipo and what he loves about being a father.

The battle for the starting SG spot is a good one you have a former all star wanting to reclaim what was and he still has it Oladipo was giving JBrown a very hard time without having the best conditioning in the playoffs. Then you have the promising young Tyler Hero who has an outstanding resume for how young he is 2 ecf and 1 final appearance. An assassin on the offensive side of the ball. You then have max Struse who is a sniper with defense grit to him style who can easily compliment everyone who starts as of right now. Very interested.

Tyler Herro should be at point. Vic at shooting guard, Jimmy at small forward, Yurt at PF, and Bam at center.

I'm loving this Tyler, It rubbed me the wrong way his comment at the end of the season, as probably many others, but even if is all bullsh*t, he is saying all the right things. Having personal goals but putting the team 1st, taking accountability for the bad performance of the playoffs even before the injury, I like it, finally seeing a more mature Tyler. He was well prepared for media day and it showed, great interview.

I didn't appreciate Jimmy outburst on the sideline last year that kinda messed with his confidence level. Especially, after he played majority of the regular season last year that helped us get the number 1 seed.

@@kevondrickbailey3920 Jimmy's " fight" had nothing to do with Tyler. If I'm understanding your comment correctly. In my opinion it had to do with the line up ,specially Duncan. They were all dogs and Duncan plays a very different game, they lost 4 games in a row to trash teams or teams without starters. Hence Max Strus starting, and Morris/ Oladipo out. It was an experiment that failed, and Spo said he had intended changed the line up sooner, but they were winning so he let it go, too long in my opinion.

It would be Dipo and Max or Herro and Max. They need a clear and guaranteed shooter on the field at all times and unless Lowry is getting benched which is unlikely, someone needs to be the spark as 6th man.

@@BigOleMoolah Tyler’s attempts aren’t always catch and shoot. He is more comfortable in pullup 3s. Max is good at both and is the guaranteed best shooter on the team.

@@BigOleMoolah Also if Lowry goes, then that means Jimmy, Bam, Dipo, and Herro all have to lower their shot attempts so they can makeup for the playmaking of their pass first point guard. it’s more complex than you make it out to be.

Well he did prove himself in his rookie year in the playoffs but I agree there needs to be more consistency. I believe he’ll accomplish everything Miami wants from him and that’s why he just got paid.

Kill 2 birds with 1 stone start herro and vic and 6th man lowry. Playmaking speed and defense of vic with herros off ball scoring then leadership and scoring off the bench with lowry. Plus lowry has been on the decline and vic was always a better player. People say but we are paying lowry well we are playing dunc and not even playing him so
