I have tried to teach my Children that forgiveness is not for the offender, it's for you, so you can break free of it and move forward. On a spiritual note, Christ said "Come and Follow me" In order to "follow", you have to take a step forward. You cannot follow if you're standing still.

No way no way. I stumbled across this lost my husband unexpectedly at 51. Just got a 14 day eviction notice. But then I listen to this. God brought me hear. I was questing my life whether to live or die . My kids dont talk to me who I love so much . But your right iv gave them everything I never had . Now I thought I was a bad mum . I love you with all my heart you gave me the gift of laughter when I seen your first movie. I never smiled, laughed I just went through life. Hearing my little boy say my mommy never smiles or laughs . Love this. Forgiveness was not easy for me. AT. ALL. But then I started praying for those who had hurt me. Meanwhile I could hardly pronounce their names without puking in my mouth. And the more I did it, the easier it got. And I am seeking forgiveness myself. And God has already LONG forgiven me. So who am I to decide who gets forgiveness and who does not? I made amends to those I had wronged. And I didn't do it so they'd like me or forgive me. I did to free myself from hanging onto years and years of resentment toward them all. I also owned each and every part I played in those situations. This changed my whole attitude and outlook on life. It's never been the same since. Amen 🙏 ❤

Tyler Perry you are an amazing soul. Everything you have been through.Such great faith. You and where you are right now shows that you have leaned on the Almighty God who has made you prosper. I do believe that forgiveness is very powerful.I believe that along with all your hard work ,and not giving up ,the fact that you have a forgiving heart is one of the main reasons why The great God of the universe has blessed you greatly.
