Oprah, sometimes I feel so overwhelmed. I'm 72, but I still feel 22. I'm always looking for inspiration and I found it in your video. I believe in God and I ask for help all the time. My problem is how people and my Sons perceived me. I'm a hard worker and very independent. I know you can only be who you really are but they seem to be having a problem dealing with who I am. I've made mistakes. But, I try to learn from them. I raised my sons along. Now I realized God was with me. But, at the time. I felt alone. Instead of my Sons looking at our struggles when they were growing up as life lessons learned in a positive way. They see me as a failure! Oprah, I got them through elementary, highschool, and college. Not one of them going to jail! They both when in the Air Force. I have no relationship with their wives or their children. They also blamed me for leaving their dad. I had to because he would not properly take care of his family. I have had a job since 11 years old. Because I mine my business. People seemed to misjudge me.I get so very tired of it. But I know where my strength come from and it has never failed me. Thank you. I'm Grateful.

This was amazing and very powerful and I needed this at this very moment and I always say when I’m grateful for a why & either write it down… I quit my job the other day because I fell overwhelmed and carry in so many People like situations in my hands when I’m only a single mother now what the future may hold.. But I say ever since I’ve been on my journey God has blessed me with peace in order to have a peaceful life I have to separate myself From people places and things that will Intervene and try to mess up my peace.. I will not give up I am very resilient and I will keep pushing and I will continue to practice my spirituality that keeps me centered in this world we live in a god is number one And I will forever trust him with all my heart

Yes. I feel the same about Sidney Pointier, he is able to reach deep inside and find that place we all sit and simmer in. It’s through open forum discussions that we think outside of our immediate curated thoughts and explore other perceptions. Very few people understand true empathy. People tend to judge how we show up in someone’s life. What empathy looks like. Sometimes we see in others something that others can’t see because they are distracted by the visual instead of listening with the heart. Once you hear the heart, the visual is secondary. Thought provoking words from a woman who weathered every storm with path forging strength.

Thank you Oprah. I love the way you unapologetic about who you are. You inspire me. You made it with the Lord and you are still with the Lord. That is all I need to know. I have hope. I'd never hurt anyone just cuz of what they have or had. What you get won't last but I completely understand the assignment. But the class would rather teach. I'm just glad I'm real enough to speak up on myself and what I go through before others can shine a light on my downfalls. And yet and still I constantly congratulate, through all the hurt and pain.

Oprah, I have watched you for many years many, many years and I have admired you for so many reasons that I cannot even begin to put into words. I have grown with you can I have a reflected on my life with you and what I love is that you have shared the pains in the hurts and the struggles in your life and that you have also admitted mistakes such as the school in Africa… While it was not truly a mistake it was an opportunity to do things differently and I think that’s what real life is about! We choose to do something and we think we know how we’re going to do it and we had and feet first and suddenly, things aren’t working out the way we were expecting it to hey. Nonetheless, I admire, The open honestly and integrity you have about the school and other issues in your life are!! I think this video is probably one of the best Documentaries you Have you ever put together😊❣️❣️ The background scenery is just beautiful you can take their eyes off of it, and at the same time who can stop listening to your beautiful voice and face & Listen to the words and wisdom of the reflection of intelligence of what you’re saying, and I am finding total agreement With it as I’ve experienced many of those same things you have in my life: from verbal abuse, to physical abuse and sexual abuse. To Embarrassment in the workplace as well as public humiliation and the restaurants with fellow Bosses and coworkers; women being catty about a new outfit it wasn’t cheap just to make themselves feel better; pettiness pure pettiness is a very long list that I am not going to make here. As a single woman, I think the greatest humiliation was the day my daughter came home and we were living in Wichita, and I was trying to keep my children very safe from Jeanne frightening issues: one who is a very angry alcoholic abusive ex-spouse So I had given up my very high paying job of $42,000 a year to Being self-employed in a small town of 2000, BTK was torturing our city and County of Wichita Kansas and the surrounding suburbs for over three years before he was actually caught but at the time nobody knew that and my children were my number one priority so, I would do anything to protect them!!!!!The boys could ride their bicycles two houses to the left and two houses to the right. They thought I was ridiculously strict and one day my 10-year-old daughter came home from school and they were learning about Laura Ingalls Wilder’s and how to do Crosstitch and she Crosstitch beautifully “M is from Mom, not MAID”, Because I was working as a house cleaner from 8:30 to 3:30 so that I could take the kids to school and pick them up immediately so that NOBODY Could get to them!! It was my greatest fear. My daughters brothers were ages three and six years older than her and there was actually no way I was going to do anything to protect my children right now at time! I pray to God that he keep them safe until she was 21, and then he could take my life he called me when he was dirty years old so she would’ve been 24 and asked me what I was doing and and I said I had come home for lunch from my own business, And he is voice sounded really strange and he said “Mom do you have the TV on? And I did. He said mom are you watching the court trial for BTK? I replied yes! He said mom that man is so scary and he’s telling the judge he’s got the facts wrong and he’s proud of what he did but more importantly Mom, I owe you an apology because He was everywhere we were Colin he was by our bank and buy our church and by our house and buy our parks and by our school, he was everywhere Mommy!!! And he was trolling and the judge asked what he meant by trolling and he corrected BTK and he said you me and said do you mean patrolling and he said no I was qtrolling for my next victim!. It was his daughter that turned him in when she found the stash of The victims personal items he had kept. He said Mom I am so glad that care to keep us protected and even though we didn’t like it that we could only bicycle two houses to the left and right, we know that you did everything for our own safety and it’s really unsettling to know just how close he was to our home and everywhere we went. I love you mom and thank you and God bless you! He was crying and he was 31 years old when he called me about that. In life, we make decisions and they’re not always easy! Since cancer I’ve had a lot of time for being reflective and I got alot of time to pray and to talk with God and to think on the words “it is well with my soul! I truly think the most important things it is in life it’s over was saying it is not what we accomplish in life or a choir in life but what we are able to pass on to our family members in terms of values and morals; also instead an example of how we set an example of Christ in our life and how we reach out to God and ask others that we might help them and give to them, whether they asked for it or they seem to be in need but always be willing to Be of service as Jesus set the example when he was on earth to be of service anytime day or night to others! I find that second half of my life this is how I have tried to live and I have found more joy in living then any other way. Not by collecting A big house or cars etc.

The Beginning of Jan 2024 I need this to push forward. Five living generations in my family I am 56. We are woman of color and we will continue to be here and give the equality we need that we deserve
