You did it, bro! Thanks, I really appreciate it. It's clearer now. So basically, the message here is, don't pretend that you changed. Show it. We need evidence that can be sensed through actions and results, not just words. In this case, I think the narrator must show that he really detached from his stuff. But what we see is that he kinda misses his old version. He must embrace his new version.

That sounds right to me. On an unrelated note: regarding Tyler's hypocisy, I was thinking that even though he's a hypocrite, he at least knew what rules to break, and how to get away with it most of the time.

This has always been one of my favourite lines in any movie. That line stuck with a younger me when leaving the theatre, watching this movie for the first time all those years ago. It still does. Thanks for covering it.

I was born the same year the movie came out. First time I’ve watched it just a few years ago. And it absolutely blew my mind. It turned over my perception of life, because the problems that highlighted in the movie so much resonated with me. It hits me so hard that I was sitting in silence the whole night after watching this. I felt like I was living in illusion and that movie just threw me back to reality. The “Fight Club” actually doesn’t give you answers. It makes you to start asking questions to yourself, even if it causes you pain, because oftentimes it’s painful to face the truth. And that’s why it’s a timeless classic. It’s a masterpiece. I watched almost every video on your channel about FC. I absolutely sure that you deserve more views. Good luck with development of your channel😊

@@bizarrebreakdowns What scared me the most was understanding that the Narrator is literally me. And to these days I still find something new when I rewatch FC. Usually it’s a kind of chaotic thoughts, but your channel is helping me to put them together. So again, thank you for doing this.
