Joan Lena I have to agree. As a mom.. we’ve walked down that road, and trust me.. 23 years now since my divorce, I can say it was my biggest mistake. I was 25band we were together for 9 yrs... yes it was hard, but for two yrs I struggled and finally called it quits. He tried for 5 yrs to get me to come back. I was hard headed. It was a mistake. My life would be so different now, had I just put my own selfishness to the side and realized that everything I thought I wanted to do that I thought he was holding me back from wasn’t realistic. I could still run my business, finish college, and do anything I wanted... but I kept telling myself I had other priorities and responsibilities that I needed to do first.. I definitely have regrets because he eventually remarried and so did I and that wasn’t the right thing. We should have stuck it out. There is NEVER the right time l, I need to do this or that first before I settle down, it just doesn’t work that way. You can do everything you need to do and still have that partner, but you have to work as a team. You can’t be selfish. It’s give and take, not my way or the highway. ❤️

DMomma I agree it’s better to stick it out I’m married to the same man for 45 yrs now (since we were 21 yrs old)and yes there were some very tough times but we got through it raised 3 sons and we have 4 grandchildren now . I would only tell Tyler what I would tell ( and have told) my own sons. With all he’s been through settling down could do him more good not only for him but for his brothers too. That female around the house can be a good thing and a big help too . The best gift he can give his pops is a grandchild. Yes Tyler is still young but he’s mature beyond his years . I think he’ll make the right decisions. ( I Hope it’s with Hannah , she got along really well with his family & friends & that’s so important.)

Joan Lena Yes! We had one child.. a girl.. no boys. My daughter dumped her high school boyfriend, right as she left for college. I guess she thought there was something better on the horizon but three years later she regretted it and they figured out they were right for each other All along. They got lucky they both met up again after three years and other relationships and made it work. Now I have my granddaughter and a grandson and that’s where my happiness comes from. It was when the grandkids came along that I knew my ex and I should be enjoying them together, my grandchildren changed me! ❤️ I wish I would have put more work in and that we would have been together raising our daughter and just being the old married grandparents now. Lol. Just shows sometimes we make selfish choices and they can change your entire life. Tyler has been through a lot, and so has Hannah.. if it’s meant for them, they will figure it out. His brothers are bright young men, they will be fine and his dad (like myself) having health problems, just makes me appreciate the time I have with my daughter, son in law and the babies so much more now.

You are not alone, I am waiting for them to get back together and get a show that would give Chip and Joanna a run for their money! He wants to be a contractor and she has interior design experience or at least has expressed a desire to try it. I would watch for sure.
