I saw my girlfriend watching this episode a while back. She was telling me that it was weird because everyone was jumping on this guy making him a bad guy, on the show and online. But that she was uncomfortable because she completely agreed with him, and though I don’t watch show myself - I agree with him too. Good in him for sticking to his morals, even if he did get a bit petty.

Secretly they envy him for being able to stand is ground as a man in front of everybody attacking him, and do that calmly, with a smile and pure clarity and confidence on his face. One more reason to be hostile against him.

The reason they want him to apologize so bad is because they know he’s right and the fact that he stood up for himself makes them all look really bad. If they can get him to admit that he was wrong even a little then it kinda validates the things they did for her and makes them feel less stupid. It just a power move they’re trying to do on him.

For context, it was later discovered that she had exposure to one of the contestants via social media prior to going on the show and she had already chosen him and fallen in love before meeting everyone else, or soon after arriving at the competition. The season ended early for this reason and was a first for the franchise as no other contestant had ever been so brazen and inappropriate before. I say this all to say, Yosef was actually right, SHE WAS WASTING THE MENS' TIME! For anyone curious, the men were livid when they found out, and the man who she actually wanted the whole time proposed to her halfway through the season. Since then, she has broken up with the guy and people believe it was because of differences in life goals (children and where to live etc.).

True story: I was in club, I’m 6’6, place is packed. Somehow, I must have bumped some woman in way she didn’t like. She kicked me in the shin. Ok, fair play, I move on, later she does it again, and that shit hurt. I thought ok, maybe just keep my distance. Later in the even she walks on my foot. Ok, I’m done, I grab her and say, “Look, I don’t know what I’ve done to piss you off, but whatever it was, I’m sorry, can we move pass this and enjoy our night?” She just walks off. Later she kicks my leg again. I’m thinking, I’m not having this all night. I went to the door security who was talking a couple of women. I told him this woman been kicking my leg all evening and it needs to stop. He smirks and said, “Big as you are and you letting some woman bother you” I then said very calmly, “Ok, the next time she kicks me, I’m going to put her ass through a wall, and then I’ll say I asked you to do something about it earlier and you laughed at me” He didn’t laugh at that. He then had a word with the woman. She didn’t bother me the rest of the evening.

The bouncing scenario gave me flash backs brother. I made a pretty big deal over this, that nearly cost me my job at one point. I worked for good people but they were trying to be to careful based on how the women tended to to react to non reciprocating men. Terrible uncalled for names spewed at some guys for not being interested or offended for unsolicited contact. I disagreed that it was just easier to remove the men who tended to create less hassle. I've observed more situations where it was equally reciprocated which is a positive and non-problematic but yeah everyone and a while. Pretty deep rabbit hole to travel down so I'll keep it at that.
