Y'all remember in the 90's when the Pizza Hut and Country Skillet salad bars had all that weird garnish on top of all the ice? Some marketing genius bought kale in bulk and called it a "super food"; and created an MLM around it. Just like Açai Berries. And to this day both are thought of as super healthy.

On the blender: I can easily see a big use for it for truckers; folks who have the supplies to *make* smoothies, they have a mini-fridge in their trucks to keep their food cold if they drive cross country, but have no place for a big, bulky regular blender or no outlet space available for one of the regular mini ones that requires an outlet. This portable, battery blender is perfect- it can be secured in a cup holder, they can make smoothies on the road, and they don't have to worry about a bulky blender.
