Welcome to the Song Master Pro review! If you're looking to get started with Song Master quickly and easily, you've come to the right place. In this guide, we'll walk you through the basics, from loading songs to navigating within the application.
📂 Load a Song:
The simplest way to load a song is by dragging and dropping an audio file directly onto Song Master's window. We make it easy for you to get started!
📊 Song Analysis:
Song Master provides progress gauges while it's processing heavy computations, such as analyzing the song for chords. The great news is that you can start playing the song even before these progress gauges finish.
📁 Using the Side Panel:
For more advanced file management options, check out Song Master's built-in file browser, explained in detail in the "Using the Side Panel" section of this tutorial. It streamlines the process of finding audio files and much more.
▶️ Play/Pause the Song:
To play or pause the song, simply press the space bar or use the dedicated Play button. If you want to replay a specific section, press the [key], and Song Master will return the play head to where it last started from, indicated by a dashed line.
🔄 Reassigning Spacebar Action:
In certain situations, you may find it more convenient to reassign the spacebar's function to work similarly to the [key]. To toggle this action, click the button at the top-right, as shown below the relevant section.
🔍 Navigating:
To quickly jump to a different part of the song, click anywhere in the waveform view to reposition the play head. Song Master offers various navigation features:
🌟 Overview Bar: Located near the top, it displays the entire song, giving you an overview of its structure.
🔍 Current View Lens: This lens shows the portion of the song currently displayed in the main window and highlights its location within the entire song.
🖱️ Scrolling: Click and drag in the top half of the current view lens to scroll through the song.
🔍 Zooming: Adjust the view by dragging the handle at the start or end of the current view lens to zoom in or out.
