Anims agreed, sound... weapon sound was never treyarch's forte with a few exceptions: trench gun and type 100 for waw, mp5k(apsolute perfection of hk slap) and psg1 for bo1.

the one from Medal of Honor: Rising Sun had my favorite reloading noises, but the firing sound from Forgotten Hope 2 and the animation from Call of Duty: World at War have to be my favorites.

The design of the Type 99 LMG, and its predecessor the Type 96 LMG, was inspired by the Czech ZB-26 LMG (of which a later model, the ZB-30, would be the base design that would later be formed into the British Bren) after encountering examples of the ZB-26 while fighting the Chinese.

Type 96 chambered in 6.5 arisaka while type 99 chambered in 7.7 arisaka. Fun fact type 96 has built in magazine ammo counter. So it can tell the numbers of round left in the magazine

Interesting video. I remember using the Type 99 LMG in COD WAW. But the weapon is also on the PS2 Version of WAW in certain levels.

Its weird how Vanguard doesn't have a Type 99/96 LMG even though it was only shown in one cutscene. And no, you can't say the Bren and Type 99/96 are the same even though they were inspired from the ZB-26.

Type 99 and Type 96 Lmg Was Looks like a Bren and ZB 26 Outside but the mechanics or internals of it was based from French Hotchkiss Machine

Loved its blistering fire rate in Rising Storm, fit to rip through a few soldiers before it went dry. In Enlisted it's been fun to be reacquainted again, solid in WaW. Definitely an LMG I like to see crop up in WW2 games!

There are a few differences between the 96 and 99 The major one is the calibre they use, 96 uses 6.5, 99 uses 7.7

They're both based on a Czech design (Bren is a licenced copy while the Type 96, later 99 is built around the captured Chinese ZB 26 that are bought from the Czechs)

Not gonna lie red orchestra 2 is the best game on this list for atmosphere and ambient sounds, if anyone disagrees feel free to reply, but i only ask for you not to be an asshole about it
