These videos are a life-saver. You teach very well. I find the pacing very good especially since I can pause the video and go back whenever I want. My own lecturer doesn't teach me this well lol

hai sir . i have a confusing with 4th point in this lecture and 3rd point in 165th lecture . (in 165 video you have explained that syncronous ckt are slower due to clock is present and asynchronous ckt are faster due to clock is not present in it, ) . what is the difference between this two points. pls clarify my doubt

Using a clock means there are 0,1s. The ckt either works when it is only 0 or only 1. There is a slight lag as it continuously changes. This is not observed without a clock. Hence slower. Correct me if I am wrong.

Sir, what if we add a not gate in the way of clock signal to the second flip flop? Can a counter counts negative values?

if the input clock frequency 10ghz is passed to 6 bit jhonson counters then from mod-5 ripple counter out of which is led to mod-6 counter then to BCD synchronous conter. What is the output of the frequency?

Sir I think 2 points are contradictory for synchronous as well as asynchronous from lecture 165... in that u told for sync like the speed is slower and easy to design... bt in this u told that complicate ans faster one...

Sir lecture 178 and 180 have the completely opposite point there you said synchronous is slow now you are saying asynchronous is slow there you said asynchronous is hard to design know you are saying synchronous is hard to design which one to follow??

but isn't the basic concept of the counters as explained in the previous video that clock is connected to 1st and o/p of 1st flip flop is given to the next? So, how do the synchronous counters fit this criterion?
